So easy to just sprinkle these on top of your laundry right before you hit start. I love the scent of these, it isn't over powering but it actually makes me feel cleaner and I'm putting on fresh clothes. Using detergent just isnt enough. This makes my clothes smell amazing!

It was a deodorizer for my clothing and acted as an air freshener in my home. It is simple to use. You simply toss as little or as much as you like into the washer and then add your clothing. This product can also be used with fabric softener. I love the smell of fresh newly washed laundry.I found this product to be similar to Downy's Unstopables. I will definitely purchase this product in the near future.

For someone who is obsessed with things that smell fantastic, I am definitely obsessed with Downy Fresh Protect Beads. My linens and clothes smelled just as good coming out of the wash as the bead did going in! I love crawling into bed and my sheets smelling like April Freshness days after laundry day. I will definitely continue to buy and use the Downy Fresh Protect Beads, I just wish that there were more variety of scents.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I don't normally use Downy Beads in my laundry but since I received my free sample to try from Bzzagent I can't stop using them! These beads are so easy to use and they smell wonderful. My husband is a mechanic so I decided to try them on his clothes and I have to say that these things work wonders. I've tried several different kinds of softeners or scent boosters and no matter what or how much of them I use his clothes always ended up smelling like oil after the wash. I would have to rewash his clothes and a couple of days later his clothes would smell as if I didn't wash them at all. I used these Downy Beads one time and it left his uniforms smelling amazing and clean! Even a few days later they still smelled like they had just been washed that same day. These little beads are also convenient because you just measure out a cup or so depending on the load size, toss them in and start the wash. I didn't need to worry about measuring softner or rewashing his uniforms for the millionth time! These totally changed my way of doing laundry and I'm so happy for it.

I haven't used Downy April Fresh in years. It used to be my favorite but there was a change to the formula and I tried others. I decided to give it another go as I was tired of my current scent and bought these beads. Wow, they actually smell bad. I can't describe it, but it's toward the end of the scent, it's sort of sweet and sour, it's definitely not fresh.

I was a little afraid to try these, because other similar products I've used in the past, don't "melt" in my HE washer, but this did NOT disappoint! And, 2 weeks later, a shirt hanging in my closet STILL smells downy fresh! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First I would like to say I was confused as to what this was I have never tried a in fresh protect products I was not sure if I had to add laundry soap or not all the sample package said was to add fabric softener if desired so I looked up their website and all it said was shake the beads in a cup toss in and add fabric softener if desired luckily on the reviews others had said to use laundry soap so I did just to be safe. I split my sample into to loads because the package I got said to just toss in and the website said to shake it in a cup I think the smell was stronger when I just tossed them in. My first load I used on our work clothes my husband said his clothes smelled to much like perfume and had me rewash his clothes I liked the smell it wasn't to strong but did fade out fast by the end of my 6 hour shift I could not smell anything the second load I used in my towels the smell was not as strong but I also used bleach and could smell it over the bleach smell it did make my towels very soft. I would have to say I would probably use these again on my towels and blankets but not my clothes

They are a bit unusual since they look like a packet of pink squashed rice. My boyfriend actually saw these and used it regularly so I got pretty excited. THESE ARE AMAZING, weird, BUT AMAZING! I went through a full workout and my clothes still smelled fresh out of the laudry. They had been laundered about a week prior so I was shocked they still smelled so good after so long and after a workout. Might be a new holy grail product. Now I understand why my boyfriend likes these so much!

I received this product to test for free, and that's honestly probably the only way I ever would have tried it because it's definitely an "extra." After trying it though, I am so surprised and will be purchasing to add it to my normal laundry routine. As soon as my clothes came out of the washer, they smelled so fresh. I was still in doubt when they came out of the dryer because I thought the heat was affecting it. It has been almost an entire day since I washed them and they smell so absolutely fresh. I'm a nursing mom and for the first time, my reusable nursing pads smell good after being washed!
