[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got a free sample of these Downy® Fresh Protect Active Fresh In-Wash Odor Shield beads, I sprinkled them in a load of especially stinky clothes (my husbands gym and work clothes!) and these worked wonders! First of all, they are simple and easy to use. You just sprinkle them into the washer (that's it!). Second, they SMELL AMAZING!! They really make your laundry smell fresh and clean, and it lasts! Even after you put your clothes away in your dresser or closet, you will smell the same freshness when you pull them out later. I would definitely recommend these.

Since I don't have a washer and dryer at home, I go to the laundromat to use the machines there. I normally like to use liquid products for that reason. When I used this, I tried it a few times and noticed I had to use twice the recommended amount to actually get a scent fresh scent onto my clothes. I did follow the instructions and put the product in with the clothing rather than tossing it in the top of the machine at the laundromat. Then I tried it again at a friend's house and I got the nice fresh scent with the recommended amount after using the machine in her home. I did receive this product for free, but my opinion here is all my own.

But when I took the clothes out of the dryer, the clothes did not smell any more. My clothes were not particularly smelly before I wash them, so I am not sure if this will shield my clothes from stinky smells.

I think his horrendous foot stench kills off any trace of laundry soap scent as soon as the socks touch his feet. I was thrilled when I tried these Downy Fresh & Protect Beads. After a day at school and out with friends his feet didn't stink. I didn't even have to bag up his socks until laundry day! That's huge. They made a believer out of me. They are also so simple to use. I just dump them in with my wash and let them do their thing. My laundry smells amazing for days and days. This is an awesome product!

When I received this as a test product, I was curious as to if it would work because I had never seen anything like it before! I am so please with how fresh and how soft my clothes are now that I have used Downy Fresh! I would highly recommend for everyone who wants to smell super nice all the time!

We are a small family of 3, I have a toddler and my boyfriend works 12 hour days in a hot, warehouse-type factory. He sweats so much that his clothes are wet when he comes home from work. I usually have to wash his clothes twice to get the smell out! I just bought these a few days ago and all I can say is WOW! My son is still in the process of potty training to urine scented bed sheets and blankets are gross, and the smell of sweaty clothes makes me nauseous. I can not praise Downy enough for this wonderful product! Not only do the clothes smell great straight from the washer, they smell great for days! :) I would definitely reccomend this product! 5 stars!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I never tried the Downy Fresh & Protect Beads Botanical Mist before receiving for review, and I regret to not used them sooner. Simple to use with your every laundry needs, and the wonderful scent was long lasting. I did only use this with a non scented laundry detergent, so I'm sure thats what made it better. The scent was not overwhelming, and no residue was left behind. If your looking for that long lasting fresh and clean laundry smell, this is def the product to try!

Anyone who has pets will tell you that it can be hard to get oders out of furniture and clothing. I've struggled for years getting the dog smell out of my sheets. After using Fresh-Protect In-Wash Oder Shield, my sheets stayed maintained a fresh scent for over a week! A must have for any pet owner. Though I received this product as a free sample for testing purposes, all opinions are my own.

I used this product when washing my towels. The scent was wonderful and lasted after washing and drying. It was so nice to have a fresh towel that also smelled fresh when getting out of the shower. I tested this product for free, but all opinions are your own.

They're just little white beads that I learned later that you're suppose to put in with your detergent. Didn't really think highly of it at all, especially because when opening the package the smell is too strong for my liking, but when I used it, before I even checked on the laundry, I could smell it throughout the laundry room and my clothes weren't too overpowering, just smelled fresh. Especially when I put it in my dryer, the smell still stayed which is great because when I usually put it in the dryer , the detergent smell is usually gone. DEFINITELY RECOMMEND!
