Are these cute little beads safe? I found out the answer. YES, safe as can be and they make your laundry smell amazing. As soon as I ripped open the pouch I could smell the clean fresh scent. I sprinkled them all over the laundry and hoped for the best. The best did happen! Fresh clean clothes that make you proud of your laundry. Such a great LIFE HACK!!!

I haven't used Downy April Fresh in years. It used to be my favorite but there was a change to the formula and I tried others. I decided to give it another go as I was tired of my current scent and bought these beads. Wow, they actually smell bad. I can't describe it, but it's toward the end of the scent, it's sort of sweet and sour, it's definitely not fresh.

Being in Florida. We do tons of loads of wet beachy and chloride-smelling towels, bathing suits and cover ups in the summertime. I was excited to finally see a product that was specifically deodorant for my clothes! And the Fresh Protect April Fresh In-wash Odor Shield did not disappoint. My towels and bathing suits came out smelling AMAZING! I highly recommend, especially for Florida Mommas like me! (I was provided a complimentary sample of this product for my unbiased review.)

I tested this product for free, but the review is my own opinions. They are a great scent addition to any laundry where you want a floral scent. It is not overpowering, but adds a nice little something when you want your clothes to come out smelling fresh.

This product is AMAZING! I love the fresh-from-the-wash smell my clothes have after doing laundry and these beads prolong that scent. It's not overpowering and for me it usually lasts more than the 24 hours that it's supposed to. My husband works construction, but even his grimy work clothes smell good for 24 hours! I received this product for free to review, but I would buy it for sure!

I love this product from Downy. I wash my clothes on a daily basis and this product leaves my clothes smelling good and fresh. I can never live without this now. It's very convenient to use since they are just beads. I always get compliments from friends saying I smell really good! Haha. I've been a diehard fan of a direct sales brand of washer whiffs, but these have given me a change of heart. They really do leave your clothes smelling so fresh and, throughout the day, the scent is refreshed. I received these free to try, but the opinions are mine and I will DEFINITELY buying them next time.

I seriously love this product! My husband works in a fry factory so his work clothes smell like french fries and I could not get it out! Until I tried the Downy Fresh Protect beads. These things took the smell right out of his clothes, I highly recommend trying these if you have a similar problem. I received the Downy Fresh Protect Beads for free, but all opinions are my own.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love these downy fresh and protect beads! They smell super good and are easy to use. You don't need to use a lot at all just shake a little bit into the load and that's it. They may be small but they work amazing!

I have used other downy products and haven't had an issue but this product smells terrible, it has a very artificial smell i just can't get over. Also, since using it I have begin to itch and have red rash on my arms, back, and around my armpits. I can no longer use this product.
