I used these beads in my wash with my smelly clothes and towels from a week filled with hot yoga classes and 100 degree walks to and from work. I can say that this made a huge difference the next week! My workout clothes smelled fresher than they normally do and the smell lasted a long time! I would recommend these to anyone! I've always loved the smell of freshly laundered clothes when they first come out of the dryer and now after using the Downy fresh protect product the clothes continue to stay smelling fresh. I'm looking forward to buying and to make this a regular part of my wash day routine.

I used this product for the first time to wash my bedding. It's a great refresh for sheets, especially in the warmer summer months when the smells of sunscreen and chlorine from the pool start to take over! I wouldn't use this every single wash, but am more likely to use them every few weeks or so for sheets and towels. I was a little concerned the pink beads would color my white bedding, but no issues there. I would definitely keep some of these on hand for future laundry days! This product does work in boosting the smell of your laundry, but I wasn't a fan of the smell. It's a little too floral and almost cloying, but the scent does stay on and it's pretty strong. Maybe if I had a different scent I would like this. Also, this is a nice product but I'm not sure if I would repurchase this again as I don't find it a necessity but if you feel like your clothes need a little something, go for this. I'm a long time user of downy products so I was excited to try these. I've tried other laundry scent beads but none claim to have odor defense like this Downy product. I have some jeans that sometimes give off a metallic smell. I don't know if it's from the jeans themselves, being washed with my husbands work clothes or what but using the Downy fresh protect I noticed the metallic smell went away and the entire load had that great downy smell. I must disclose I was given this product to review but all opinion are my own and the honest truth.

I love the way this product smells, when I use it it makes the whole house smell good not just my clothes. And pluse it keeps my clothes smelling great for weeks while the are just hanging in my closet. I received this product for free. For testing purposes. But I will be buying it from now on.

I absolutely loved this product! I frequently work out at a busy gym and often my gym clothes still reek after a regular wash cycle. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So I tried the Downy odor shield and it was one of my first experiences using a "bead" product. I didn't expect it to do much or come close to my fabric softener. It exceeded my expectations! It really does neutralize odors and leave a fresh great scent. I'm definitely a new customer!

I absolutely love Downey's April Fresh beads. They are convienent pouches that hold true to their description - you get random bursts of the scent on your clothes throughout the day. I have no complaints and will most likely be purchasing this product on my own in the future since I was given these to try for free.

I absolutely LOVE Downy Fresh Protect April Fresh. My clothes smell amazing and the scent lasts quite a long time. Very simple to use, just throw the Downy beads in and they wash into your clothing. I've been using different Downy Fresh Protect scents but I definitely like the April Fresh more. I tested the Downy Fresh Protect Beads for free, but all opinions are my own.
