[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried the downy fresh and protect beads on 2 loads of laundry and they smelled great. They didn't leave any type of residue on my clothing and we're super easy to use. You just pour them into the washer before putting the clothes in. I definitely recommend if you want an extra scent boost in your laundry.

I washed my husband's greasy work clothes with them and his clothes still smelled good when he got home. These are definitely worth the money and smelled fresh in the closet too!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love Downy Unstopables so I could not wait to try this new product. It has a fresh scent that lasts a long time unlike the Downy dryer sheets. It was a deodorizer for my clothing and acted as an air freshener in my home. It is simple to use. You simply toss as little or as much as you like into the washer and then add your clothing. This product can also be used with fabric softener. I love the smell of fresh newly washed laundry.I found this product to be similar to Downy's Unstopables. I will definitely purchase this product in the near future.

I love the smell but it does not like me. I used a free sample in the wash and wound up in the ER due to a massive allergic reaction. I did not get hives as others have reported but my body swelled up and my pulse and blood pressure went through the roof. I am glad i only used 1/2 the recommended amount in the wash.

With all the scents out there to add to laundry I like this one and one other the best. It really does knock the oder out. My daughter tends to make a lot of messes so I usually have a lot of wet and dirty towels to clean. Usually I have to wash them twice to get that moldy smell out of the towels but not with this. Between my tide pods and this my laundry room never smelt better.

These beads smell amazing! They are easy to use and you can add a few or a lot. I had used them on black clothes but will not do that again because they left softner spots on some and you had to run them through the wash again. I will only use them on our sheets because they make them smell great and I do not have to worry about leftover residue. I followed the instructions but they seem to work better with warm water loads but most lof my loads are cold water so they do not seem to dissolve as well. *i received these free for testing and reviewing from influenster.com. I've been using Downy Fresh Protect on our linens for some time now because I love how fresh they keep the sheets and blankets even after weeks in the drawer. I've now used the April Fresh odor shield in a load of linens and a load of extremely stinky work clothes. Both loads came out smelling fresh and clean, and after a week in the drawer they are still crisp and clean. I received this product complimentary for testing purposes but all opinions are my own.

I loved these beads for adding to my batch with my comforter. It's great to smell the April Fresh scent whenever I go to bed or take a nap. I liked how I didn't have to use very many. A little went along ways. I was alittle worried about the beads not completely dissolving though. I had to pick a couple beads off my comforter I hang dry.

Seriously, nothing else smells this good or works as well. They’re trying to replace it with one that smells like flowers… yuck. I’ve tried many other brands too and this is all I will use. Seriously, will just stop buying scent boosters. Boo Downy…

Let me start by saying I have a unhealthy addiction to fabric softeners especially Downy. I love the way it smells and enjoy smelling it when I put on my clothes. I got a sample to try out and immensely enjoyed it, I even caught my husband smelling his shirt. It left my clothes feeling soft as always.
