I used the beads on my 10yo son's clothes that needed washing after his first week of camp. Being 10, a boy, and having sweated and played at camp, well these were not the most pleasant smelling clothes to wash. But when the load was done they smelled wonderful. Not perfumed, just fresh and clean. After going through the air dry cycle in the dryer they still had the fresh scent. And a couple of days after the washing they still smelled great. I tested my Downy Fresh Protect Beads for free, but all opinions are my own.

I have always loved the downy fragrances but the liquid fabric softeners tend to build up on my clothes over a period of time making them look dull/dingy quicker. Plus the fragrance faded sooner than I like. After trying the beads I am happy that the fragrance is longer lasting. Time will tell about the residue. I had no idea these little beady-things were out there, and when I unloaded the washer after using my sample pack, I was pretty blown away. I love the fresh scent, and so do my dogs! On my next shopping trip, I headed straight to the laundry aisle to buy my supply. Great idea, great product!

I am usually doing laundry on the go, and use the bare minimum product. I used the downy fresh protect active in botanical mist that came in my bzz kit, and was pleasantly surprised! I've had some towels that smelled odd, like they had a bit of mildew from a previous wash, so I decided to add the odor shield to this load, and wow! The odor shield completely removed the smell, and replaced it with the AMAZING scent. I plan to purchase the downy fresh protect active the next time I am out at the store!

I received a sample of this to try for free. I've used other kinds in the past which stained my clothes so I was hesitant to use these again. These however, worked great. I used them on my bath mats and my son's sheets. It makes his room smell nice, even when it doesn't look nice!

This is a great product. I have a teenager that plays football and it's hard to find anything to get the stench out of his clothing. I tried this product and it worked great and left a pleasant odor. I tested Downy Fresh Protect Beads for free, but all opinions are my own.

We love this product and use it in all clothing loads. Love for teenagers laundry! Has helped so much.Only problem I would love to have fixed and why I gave the product a 4 is to sell these beads in a bag or some other more earth friendly way. Hate purchasing more plastic bottles. A refill or something kinder?Hope this happens soon!

ove this product I love how it makes my clothes coming out of the washer and dryer smelling fresh as can be and super soft rwater smells nasty so it makes my clothes smell nasty but using this product I don't have to worry about that nasty smell because my clothes come out just smelling fabulous you don't have to use a lot of them the packs that I were able to use a used half a pack compared to using a whole pack in my clothes still came out smelling good. This product works so well. It leaves your clothes smelling fresh and lovely. It seems that your clothing holds the sent for a long while. I advice many people to buy the are and use them. Especially if you want fresh free sentinf clothes. I think these are the best order shield products I have ever used.

They've got a great scent and took all the smells from clothes that were worn all day in the sun and used for a muddy obstacle course. Not one hint of the day left in them after using the beads.
