My family and I have grown to love using the Downy fresh protect on our daily washes. The fresh scent that it leaves on our clothing is something I am not willing to give up. Highly recommend this product! I was sent this product to test for free but these opinions are my own.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think that Downy Fresh & Protect Beads in the Botanical Mist scent are a godsend. I have washed my clothes with liquid Downy for ages but sometimes I don't get the wonderful Downy scent we all crave when using Downy after its been washed and run through the dryer. Adding the Downy Fresh & Protect Beads in with your laundry adds an additional boost and the scent is wonderful. Its as easy as measuring out a capful and adding the beads on top of the laundry you just loaded into the wash. Close the door and set the cycle and voila Downy fresh scent! I was worried that the beads might not fully disintegrate or leave some spots on my clothing to wear I would have to rewash the entire load which is wasteful these days with water conservation, but was pleasantly surprised that there was no trace left on the clothes or in the tub. The botanical mist scent lasted through the dry cycle and eased my worries of the wonderful scent dissipating. There is nothing like warm, fresh out of the dryer, clean clothes with a refreshing scent and you definitely get that with the Downy Fresh & Protect Beads Botanical Mist scent. I cant wait to try out the other scent options!

I really liked how the scent really stayed in my clothes and sheets. The sheets still smell great and washed them over a week ago. I also like how the little beads (they look like pink lentils) look and sound when you pour them into the washer, I know that's add but I just thought it was fun. I got to try the Downy Fresh Protect April Fresh for free but the opinion is my own.

I was expecting this product to be extra perfume-y... and I was pleasantly surprised that it wasn't as much scent as I expected. It did carry over through the wash and the dry, but it was pleasant. I don't know if I noticed it reacting to my movements, but I liked how it smelled coming out of the wash, and even after it sat for a while!

I love this fragranced-packed little laundry balls! I got a few samples and HONESTLY thought there was no way such a small amount would pack some serious smell-good power. Alas, I was wrong! I went and purchased more before even finishing up my samples. These add a nice fragrant boost to your laundry. Although the scent lasts, it's not overpowering or headache inducing. Ease of use is obvious - you just toss 'em in with your laundry. They don't leave any kind of film, even on dark clothes. I don't wear perfume so the scent these provide is enough for passersby to ask what I'm wearing! I was fortunate enough to get to try the Downy Fresh Protect Beads for free, but all opinions here are my own.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I didn't notice any difference when I used the Downy Beads. I have used unstoppables before and have noticed a difference with those. However with these I didn't notice a different scent or that my close smelled better longer. Maybe it just wasn't enough to notice a difference. I use scent free detergent so I figured I would notice a scent but I did not.

On its own I think its a great scent but with that said I also think it deposits too much fragrance on my clothes for my liking. It did exactly what the packaging claims it will, keeps you smelling fresh all day. If you love heavy fabric softeners then you will really like using this product. Would probably be great for dog beds. I received this product free of charge in exchange for my honest review of it.

I used this on my kids clothes. makes them smell great. especially my sons who his clothes sometimes smell bad lol. this really freshened them up. I wanted to try these, I got a free sample to review but all opinions are my own and I will be buying these on my own too.

I wanted to love this product more than I did. My machine washer doesn't have a hot water hook up and the beads didn't "melt or dissolve" and got stuck to my clothes. However my clothes were doused with fragrance ! Maybe make an option for cold water washers? Please note that I received this product as a sample trial for free for review purposes through influenster. The opinion however is my own.

I used this product in a very smelly load of towels. While putting them in the dryer I noticed that they smelled great! After drying and folding the towels, they still smelt wonderful. After several uses of the towel, it remained smelling fresh and not musty at all. After about a week, I took another towel out of the linen closet, and not only did the closet have the April fresh scent, but the towel smelled as if I just washed it. I also put some of the Downy beads in my wax melter, and to my surprise the entire apartment smelled wonderful. I received this product free to test, but the opinions are my own.
