We bought our first tempur-pedic over 16 years ago. We decided to get another newer model with an adjustable base this time. We have the older one your grandson. The adjustable base is heaven and so is the mattress. My wife and I are both in our mid 50's and we love the comfort, support and rest we get with Tempur-pedic mattress. It does take 30 to 45 days to break it in. I know that sounds crazy but it is true. Give yourself at least that long to break it in and then you to will be dreaming all night long. Happy sleeping!

My husband and i were in the market for a new mattress that would meet both of our requirements. it's hard finding a mattress that will be comfortable for the both of us. But the we found the luxe adapt (soft)! This is a wonderful bed. I suffer from hip pain and it's completely gone. The mattress conforms to your body and releases pressure. It's just fantastic. I can't reccomend it enough!

I was really excited to get this product however I'm not sure about it anymore. I tried out this particular mattress several times at the store and loved it. I felt buying the premium memory foam would be best for me. It seemed the most comfortable and I like that it addressed pressure points. While I don't sleep hot on the mattress my lower back is killing me now. I toss and turn to relieve the issues in my lower back but given that its a memory foam, its hard to adjust positions. I'm thinking of returning it if it doesn't resolve itself in a week.

First of all, let me start by saying how grateful and lucky I feel to be able to try out a mattress such as this one. I have always dreamed of one day owning one but could never quite afford it. Having poor blood circulation, RLS, and chronic lower back pain makes life hard, especially getting a good night's rest. I'm a firm believer that it is crucial to get enough sleep to function and live a healthy, active life. I always tossed and turned, and could never find a soft enough mattress to adapt to the high arch in my back and allow me to rest on my back for very long. My legs would go numb and throb to the point I would have to get up and walk around for awhile. This mattress truly came at a time in my life where I didn't even realize how much I needed this. The moment I first laid in it, I felt so much relief that I cannot even put into words. I had chills and truly felt like the weight had been lifted off of me. The way in which this mattress adapts and conforms to your body, is unlike any other. It fits like a glove. To be thoroughly honest, if you are like me and are desperate for something that will give you some much needed pressure relief after being on your feet all day, you will not be disappointed. I highly encourage you to invest in a mattress that will adapt to YOU! It is a decision you will wish you made alot sooner. I am forever grateful and soooo excited to get into bed every night!! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our 15 year old grandson tried the firm mattress when he was visiting. He said it was too firm without a foam topper on it. It is a bit firm for me but is very good quality. My husband said it is a bit firm, but his back felt good and he slept well. He wishes it would conform to the shape of the body a little more. He also would like it to be not so thick because he does activities sitting on the bed and the mattress is higher off the floor than he would like. My experience with Tempur Luxe Adapt soft has made me almost pain free at night and day! I have back problems and arthritis in hips and shoulders. I weigh 165. This bed cushions and supports me like no other. We tried other expensive mattresses and had to exchange them. The support is best for me with our adjustable frame for relief from GERDS. This mattress works great on an adjustable frame. Some other mattresses we tried left me in so much pain all day long. Prior to this we had the Tempur Pro Adapt soft. It was good, but this is better. We also bought the waterproof cooling mattress protector and it really does help keep the heat down. I love our new Tempu LuxeAdapt soft! It's improved the quality of my life. My husband, who can sleep anywhere, loves it too.

My wife and I got our mattress 2 days ago and we've had 2 of the worst nights of sleep that we've had in a very long time. This mattress is supposed to be soft but it's extremely hard and you can't get comfortable laying on it and it's supposed to keep you cool but my legs were very warm so I had to sleep without a sheet over me.. I guess we are stuck with this horrible mattress for 30 days before we can get something else. One other thing I never realized was the edge has no support at all so it's a bit hard to sit on the edge comfortably.

I bought this mattress thinking it would last longer, since it was about 4k. It's about a year old and there's already such a dip in the hip area that I cannot get or stay comfortable. I work for a company that sells tempur-pedic Mattress, and yet I paid full price and the mattress is failing within a year. I'll be paying this if for years to come and I Absolutely hate it! It's overly hot, it's support system is so soft in the hip area I can literally feel it's collapsed under the comfort layers, but it's not showing a visible sag, so I guess I'm just out of luck. Never again. And I won't be recommending Tempur-Pedic to any of my customers moving forward.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Husband and I were both having back pain in the mornings, the mattress was old and I was ready to upgrade. My husband wanted to just get a new mattress, I wanted a Tempurpedic. My husband was reluctant, but agreed. The delivery team were amazing, came in set up everything and got rid of the old in no time at all. Sleeping on it... day 1: husband "likes" new mattress, day 5: husband tells me that new mattress is the best purchase we have made including our honeymoon XD I love the support of the firm mattress, and the "squish" the lux has to the very top layer so you still feel that foam contour to you. We use the new base to sit up and relax Saturday morning. My back doesn't hurt all day, and neither does Husband's.
