Two shoulder surgery... Back surgery.. Thrashed neck... trying all i can to never fuse my cervical. Fast furious fun life... Haven't had a decent night sleep in 15 years... This mattress is without question the has changed my life... I sleep better than i ever have in my entire adult life!!!!

We purchased our mattress in December of 2016 and I was excited to try it out. I was hoping that the memory foam would help with my shoulders, low back, etc. My husband didn't have any issues. When we went to the store to check the mattresses out, the salesman made a big deal about us laying down on the mattresses so we could select the one that best fit our needs. Well the Medium firm mattress felt wonderful. And we laid on it for quite a while. We also tried the Soft one and it was very soft and didn't seem to have any support. So after discussing with the salesman, he said that it would probably take 60 days to break in the mattress so that it would be like the one we tried in the store. And if we were not happy with it, we could return it for a different one. Within 30 days, both my husband and I could hardly walk when we got up in the morning. The mattress was so hard. I put a foam pad on it and that helped a little. So we went back to the store to see if we could get a different one. They said we should give it more time and that we should not have added the foam - well they weren't sleeping on the darned thing. They also said we could trade it in for the Soft mattress but it would cost more money. I was really frustrated. The thing already cost us an arm and a leg, I felt we had already paid too much and didn't want to pay more money only to find out the soft one wouldn't work either. They also said that the reason the medium mattress felt so good at the store was because so many people had laid on it, trying it out, so it was broken in really good. So we went home disappointed and feeling like we were ripped off and determined to make the mattress work for us so we didn't have to pay more money to the store. After 90 days, the mattress was still as hard as it had been day 1. So we put the foam pad back on it. It has now been over 2 years and it is still as hard as it was on day 1. And yes, the foam pad is still on there. With the foam pad, we aren't limping out of bed. I firmly believe we were delivered the hard mattress. Lessons learned - (1) it does not help to try out mattress in the store, as they are not what you will receive; (2) don't believe the salesman when he says you can bring it back, there will be a catch; (3) buy a cheaper mattress so you can afford to get another one when the new one doesn't work out. I'm writing this at 1:30 am because I can't sleep, my shoulders are aching from laying on the mattress.

I am not going to be critical nor do I want to change anyone's decision to purchase this product. But I as 1 person's review would like to tell you my experience. I have slept on a Memory Foam 4 inch top with 6 inches of medium foam as base for 13 years. The complaint I have with that old mattress is after 13 years it had "memorized" my pressure points that it became unbearable when moving from that "memory position" to another, causing back pain and shoulder pain. Using the Tempur-Adapt mattress, I no longer have any back or shoulder pain. I have also found that when lying on back I don't need a pillow. I also have a Tempurpedic Adjustable Base, which I wonder why I never purchased years ago. Just raising the head end only 2 inches, NO MORE SNORING...no longer being woke up in the middle of the night from spouse pushing on me to stop. I purchased a cover for the mattress which impedes the heat transfer that Tempurpedic is known for. That cover disappeared the first night! It's only been a month - but I will let you know in several years if I have the same attitude toward this product. Maybe I will move it to 5 stars...

i bought the pillow with the mattress and glad I did. They work together to align my body perfectly. No more knee pain or sinus congestion waking me in the night. Worth every cent! It takes at least a week to "break it in". The mattress is hard the first few nights- I was advised by my sales person to walk on it- yes- stand on it and walk on it! it is essential in getting the mattress to the feel of the same you laid on.

I had a split cal king tempurpedic bed for 16 years prior to this medium hybrid bed. This one is definately taking more time to break in. I have only had it for 3 weeks so it is an adjustment and taking my body some time to get used to the new firmness.

I am a large person. 6'-7" - 250 LBS. This bed has zero support and is very hot. The deeper my body sinks into the mattress, the hotter it gets. We have had our mattress for 1 year, and I was hoping that my experience would improve, but it has not. I still wake up every morning stiff and longing for some comfort. Not what we were expecting or wanted. We tried to get a refund but the allowed time has already passed.

Mattress was wonderful and loved the product but now after three years it has started cracking vertically and horizontally. Filed the proper claims process and was immediately declined stating the discoloration on the under cloth (which cannot be washed) was the cause due to a spill. This stain was actually caused by sweat due to the heat that retains in the memory foam and now the claims department stated there is nothing they can do or help with. Needless to say I will not purchase another tempurpedic mattress again due to this customer service and warranty response to not guarantee their product like they claimed. 10 year warranty was not upheld and quality and customer assurance is not their top priority.

I've been sleeping on this mattress for 2.5 months. It's still firmer than I thought it would be. The pressure point problem I had on my old mattress with my shoulder is definitely better, but the same problem with my hip is worse. Given the price of the mattress, it's rather disappointing. I'll likely have to return it soon and replace it with something softer.

I've had my mattress and adjustable base for one year. I have always struggled with the night... Falling asleep, waking at the smallest sounds. I am high strung and I've tried many prescriptions, etc. My routine is turn on the sound machine, ear plugs and in bed by 9pm; up at 4am. I can say I am no longer grouchy when I wake. I'm 38 now and I feel the most rested I've ever felt. I use the Tempur Cloud breeze dual cooling pillow (I have a blown disc in my neck) and I put a regular hard pillow between my knees when I'm side sleeping. This bed is worth every penny and I'm so happy I sleep well these days. My remote the base stopped working. I called- was sent a replacement right away. I don't think anyone would be disappointed going with tempur

This product is not the product for me. I toss and turn and do not get a good nights sleep. I bought it throughfurniture store and their policy is absolutely no returns on mattresses. I wish I knew because I would have bought through tempurpedic instead. At least then I could have returned after 30 days. Now I'm stuck with the mattres.
