we researched, shopped, went to stores laying on all kinds of mattresses, and landed on the Tempur-Adapt. for us, it was a very good choice. it is somewhat cooling, but not totally which is good for my husband. we both feel like we sleep so much better and deeper. I sleep on my side, and back, and either way is supportive and comfortable. I will be anxious to see how this hold up for us. the weird thing is, and I have not seen this mentioned anywhere, is that the California King sheets fit better than our king size sheets did. we just happen to try a CK that my mother had, and it fit great. I don't think anyone would be disappointed in making this purchase.

We decided to purchase our TEMPUR-Adapt due to me constantly waking up stiff and in pain. This mattress has been a blessing for me. I no longer wake up feeling like I am injured. I'm still getting use to the mattress but I can definitely tell a difference in my quality of sleep and my overall health.

I think everyone expects Tempur-pedic to be a great experience and the quality to be superior to other brands, and we willingly pay a slightly higher price for that. But what we get from that exchange is an amazing night's sleep every night. There is no price one can put on that. No more aches and pains in my back, no more neck problems, and I actually sleep through the night now, having never moved or turned from where I fell asleep. I used the mattresses that come in a box for 20 years straight. And I only had two of them, one of which I still have in a guest bedroom. They don't break down, and I slept relatively well on them, but as you get older, you simply need better. Nothing even comes close to the kind of sleep I get on my Tempur-pedic, hybrid, medium mattress. I think after 20 years of minor league mattresses, I not only deserve but can seriously appreciate a purchase like this. I should've bought one 10 years ago, LOL! If you are considering purchasing a memory foam or hybrid mattress, there are many brands to choose from. But Tempur-pedic started it all, and their warranty is far above and beyond what most any mattress company offers. if the bed sinks, just 3/4 of an inch, they send a new mattress, at a y point throughout the 10 years of warranty. I highly doubt it will sink at all, but if it does, I'm covered. The cool top layer is amazing! I never get hot like previous mattresses, and that alone is worth it. Easily rated 11 out of 10 stars for this customer!! I hope you find one that fits your needs. Because when you do, you'll know it almost immediately. And you'll never look back, except to buy another one in 10 to 20 years that suits your changing needs for good, restful sleep. Many, many wonderful nights and naps ahead!

We are less than 30 days in and I am waking up with lower back, hip and leg pain worse than my old mattress. I know its the mattress because right before we got this mattress we were on vacation and I had zero pain and slept great on Hilton's mattress. Unless it gets much better, we will probably return it and try to find one that works. It's way too expensive to keep if it's not a game changer in a positive manner.

I have had the adapt about 3 weeks. No longer have shoulder pain still some back and neck pain. Not sure if my neck pain is coming from pillow or mattress. Going to change pillow tonight and see if that makes a difference. Also mattress was much firmer than I anticipated. Not sure if I like that yet,

We purchased the split King Adapt Medium & LOVE IT!!!!!!! Also purchased the adjustable frames, great for watching late night TV Should've purchased this 5 yrs ago Only slight problem adjusting to the cooling mattress, but after a few short nights, wouldn't trade it for anything. Am sure we'll appreciate it even more when summer comes, Las Vegas Summers are hot. Love the pillows as well & the underneath light, great for those middle of the night trips to the bathroom. The massaging feature is fantastic . ShihTzu Approved !

Quality bed and comfortable enough. I don't think it's definitfly worth the price tag. Thought I would be sleeping on a cloud for the price. Still hurts my back and wake up achy and so does hubby. The white glove delivery service was very disappointing and Tempur-Pedic in the sense that they didn't remove my old mattress even though it's describing they do so with the free white glove delivery service. Went back and forth with both the company who delivered my bed and temper pedic. Tempur-Pedic ended up telling me they would come get my old bed after they delivered my bed. Which made no sense. That was about three weeks ago. Well guess what still here. Situation was never resolved. For paying this much for a bed you should stand behind your word in customer service. Not worth calling back to return my bed-no one even knew if we did return it and ended up exchanging how much the charge would be.

We bought the Adapt split king. The mattress makes the worst noise when you move around. The two mattresses separate and leave a 5 inch gap every night! The mattress is more like a medium-firm. I would rate it's firmness a 8 which is too hard. The floor model was softer but of course it had been layered on for years. I owned a BeautyRest before this and wish I hadn't got rid of it. I'm so sick of this mattress.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My wife and and I always discussed why we spend so much money on a car, but are only in a for a short time each day. We should invest in a comfortable mattress that we spend an average of 8 hours a day on and getting a good night sleep can effect the rest of your day. This was the best investment ever. My wife and I sleep so well. Recently, my wife was having some complications sleeping at night. She would get up multiple times a night and toss and turn, but I never felt any of it as the energy never transferred to my side of the bed. We also got the adjustable bed frame. The adjustable bed frame has been so handy when one of us is sick. The wife says "This is the most comfortable mattress she has ever slept on in her life." My wife has always had bad hips and since we got this mattress, they have not bothered her at all.

We have waited a long time to buy a tempurpedic, mainly because of cost after years of a spring mattress that didn't last that long and many back aches I pulled the trigger. We tried every memory foam mattress we could at the stores and didn't find anything like our temper adapt medium. No more back pain for me! Only one complaint. The cover is slippery so sheets don't stay put. Still have to find a solution for that one
