We have experienced several power outages in our home over the past few years. Now that we have a Generac generator, we feel secure and protected. This product has great features such as weekly exercises and Mobile Link, etc. Also, we were very happy with the installation.

I would recommend this to anyone. I consider it an asset to our home. We have a handicapped daughter in our home and it will help us to not have to leave our home in certain situations. Thank you Generac for making generators that help to make our lives better.

Our 11kW Gernator has just passed 96 hours of run time, almost all of the hours as weekly maintenance runs, and has had maybe 4 hours of emergency run time under load. It now has a oil leak on the drive shaft seal that will cost almost as much to repair as the generator cost originally. The unit looks pristine in the enclosure other than this. When you consider how many hours you put on a typical engine (say your car), it is just not acceptable that a $6 seal would fail. My on line research indicates this is a common problem, so it isn't that I got unlucky. I would not buy Generac again.

In a rural setting it's common for trees along the road to fall and interrupt power. The GENERAC automatic stand-by generator system can produce enough wattage to supply household power sufficient to maintain refrigeration, lights, air conditioning, TV and internet connection automatically. This is huge when living in, and surviving, power outages that can last weeks during storms with extreme heat and humidity in sub tropical Florida. In many areas, such as mine with acreage, it typically means some level of self reliance, so from a trade standpoint, (as an electrician) I found this unit relatively easy to install and connect to my existing utility power system.

The dealer we went through, Warren Welding of Berryville Ar, was wonderful to work with in every aspect of the purchase to the final installation. The generator works great and has given us the peace of mind whenever there maybe a power outage that our home will be supplied with electricity. We live in a remote area and this is an important issue for us.

Initially, I was excited to invest in this generator. Installed last year just before hurricane Zeta. Ran for 2 weeks, however, low oil pressure shut the unit down at least twice. No solution to excess oil usage from Comfort Engineering Systems, who did the install. This year during hurricane IDA outage, unit shut down for low oil pressure on several occasions and when I checked oil in advance of shut down it showed low oil. Over an 11 day period I had to add 14 quarts of oil. Comfort Engineering came out and performed all test to determine where the unit was using oil, but could not find any reason. Generac needs to contact me to resolve this issue, or replace the unit.

From the time I first contacted the Generator SuperCenter about the Generac standby home generator system everyone super friendly extremely knowledgeable and very helpful. When it came to the installation and setup did a great job and cleaned up and the setup went really great. Frank the technician checked out everything got everything running tested it severally times to make sure everything was working correctly then he went over and explained every part of the system and answered any questions that I may have. I was very very impressed from start to finish. I made a great choice in contacting The Generator SuperCenter and GENERAC

Just had my 24 kw generator installed last week. Installers were outstanding. Other than the start run it has not had the opportunity to perform under an emergency situation. I feel really great about this product. Would highly recommend it to anyone David Carpenter

Purchase a 22kw guardian recently. Everytime we get out power would have too drag out power cord too hook up portable gen just to run the frig and freezer. This product will pay for itself in the long run not having to worry about loosing food and still be comfortable in our home. Waiting too get more information on the prw cell pack may add this too my system later. If u don’t have Generac it will be worth it

I decided to buy a whole home generator. After reading lots of review Generac was the clear choice. I called Optimize EGS in Baton Rouge, they came out and explained the process. The crew came to install a Guardian 22 kw unit. The were professional and did a great job with the entire process. We ran a test run after the install. I am now prepared for any outages now! No more one month outage after hurricanes!!!!
