Just had this installed at my home. Todd Eppley/Darien Generators did a great job installing and was able to coordinate all the moving parts to get this done in a smooth fashion without much headache to me. He answered all my questions and look forward to having this protection in place. I recommend his services highly.

Finally have power peace of mine with the startup of a 22KW whole house generator. No more hassle of a portable generator with limited power and worrying about getting gasoline to keep it going. The generator has clean lines, and the wifi provides monitoring through our generac dealer. My only regret was not doing it sooner. Feel good about protecting my home and family from mother nature. With lots of generacs in our neighborhood feel good about selecting a proven, quality, reliable power solution.

From start to finish, I am impressed with Generac, their dealer and the product. Amazed at all the "smart" features the system has, which calms any anxiety regarding a learning curve or manual processes. The installation was managed wonderfully and the generator has a smart and sleek appearance. I recommend this product to anyone who wants a more permanent (and lasting) solution to power outages--especially in areas that are frequently impacted by hurricanes.

A 3-man crew came to install a 14kW 200amp Generac Model 7225. The work of the crew was fascinating as I followed how each step of the installation was done in an orderly manner. There was stone decor around the home that the crew had to remove in order to access the main power as well as an area for the slab foundation to support the Generac. Once the outside work was done in these areas, the stones were replaced as though nothing was ever disturbed. Downstairs, the electrical cord from the Generac to the Transfer Switch was neatly installed along with the Transfer Switch Box and it's wiring set up. When everything was installed and checked over, the technician explained how the Backup System will work in the event of a power outage. He demonstrated the System by shutting off the main circuit as the lights went out, but within in few seconds we heard the Generac start up and the Transfer Switch kick in supplying power to the house as the lights came back on! After explaining what happened, the tech switched the main circuit back on as though the main power was restored from the electric company and we heard the click of the Transfer Switch shutting down the Generac. All this within seconds! Quite impressive in my opinion!! Thank you, Generac and the professional crew doing a beautiful job!

This is my second Generac! My previous unit was over 17years old and nearing its life expectancy. Fortunately I received a good deal that included a 10 year warranty. This one has so many wonderful features - and I can access its ‘Status’ from my IPhone. Hopefully, this is the last one I will ever need!

I originally considered 26 kW whole-house generator, but I settled for 10 kW unit due to location of natural gas meter compared to optimal location for generator based upon recommendation of independent installer. Larger generator would have required 150+ feet of 2" gas pipe — 10 kW unit easily connected to existing 1" gas line. I was able to service everything in 2400 sq ft home other than washer, electric dryer, electric range, and central air conditioning compressor from included 16 circuit automatic transfer switch. Power restored in 30-45 seconds after simulated outage (flip 100 amp breaker in main box feeding transfer switch). I appreciate the fact that transfer switch waits for power to stabilize after utility power comes back on before switching back.

I am so relieved to have a whole house Generac Generator! This purchase offers peace of mind from losing heat in the winter, air conditioning in the summer and electricity. Our Model 7226, 18-Watt generator was installed this morning. This is the best piece of installation work we've ever had done on a home (over the last 54 years we've built four homes). Thomas, Jared, and their crew arrrived on time, went right to work, and three hours later we had a superbly installed generator. It's obvious that these men take great pride in their work. If the generator works as well as it looks, we have one beauty of a product sitting outside our home.

We received our Generac in July and used it the first time in the beginning of August. The Gererac Guardian 18kw worked great as expected. It was so nice to have electric when our neighbors were out. It let us run the air conditioner which was a plus. It was so nice to have it automatically turn on and off by itself. I Love the new Generac and so does my husband. I would highly recommend it to anyone. Thank you Generac!!

Just had our new whole house generator installed today. It tested out perfectly and I have every bit of faith it will perform flawlessly. Its not the best looking addition but it could have been so much worse. If we ever have the need to use it, I will update with a new review.
