I used Generac website to find a certified installer and found one in my neighborhood. They came out and done a whole house evaluation to determine my power load and suggested I needed a 22K model 7043 along with a 200 amp smart module for my 2645 sq foot home . I can’t stress enough you should use a certified installer to cover the Generac warranty. I have seen some of the bad reviews due to shabby institutions and they have nothing but problems which are not covered under warranty and the people had to pay to have a certified Generac installer to fix the problem. If they would have done that from the start their wouldn’t been any issues. I used McQuagge Electric Company here in ST. Cloud,Fl and there installation included the 3in hurricane pad, battery, 200 amp automatic transfer switch, along with a 200 amp smart module plus permits. Since I already had Blossman gas bury my 250 gallon propane tank for my spa heater I had Blossman run a line to the generator also. McQuagge Electric Company even checks to make sure the propane line is correctly installed before they even do a test run. They check anything and everything to make sure there are no issues, very professional company. The cost of the generator, hurricane pad, battery, and smart module cost as much as the installation. Which was not cheap but you Get what you pay for . Since the complete installation is not done yet I cannot comment on how good the unit works. I will do that later. I called Generac and received a 7 year warranty since they were running a ad on TV.

As a disabled Veteran I am unable able to negotiate the stairs in our house, my wife has to try and push me up the stairs. With the whole house backup generator we no longer have to worry about power to run our elevator, if there is a power outage.

We are very excited to have our new Generac 22KW Generator installed. The Mobile Lilnk option is very reasurring that you can monitor the "Exercising" scheudle, battery charing, and ready to run status. The quality both outside and expecially inside is obvious upon inspection. We have not lost power since the installtion, but are actually looking forward to it as crazy as that may sound. No more extension cords is somehting that Im looking forward to not having to do any longer. Will recommend to all neighbors, family, and friends. This is also a great additon to the value of our home.

If you are interested in purchasing a Generac generator I would recommend calling them and have them come out and check out your needs.

I recently had the 22KW installed in my home of 2,500 square feet. The exercise mode starts once per week for a period of 5 minutes; we do not hear the generator from inside the residence. The overall appearance blends in extremely well with our brick home. I am highly impressed with the design and overall performance of the unit. In the event of a need for an emergency oil, air filter, or spark plug change, the design allows for easy access by the home owner. All other maintenance can be performed by the dealer. I am a very WELL PLEASED CUSTOMER.

Don't have operational time yet but all went very well with install of 22Kw and transfer switch that we placed inside the garage. Startup process proved system easily took the house without issues. Only two people (until a storm hits :>) ) and 2600 Sq Ft place. Write another review when the system is needed/used for the first real event.

This generator was awesome. We lost power for 5 days. We have 200 gallons of propane and did not know how much this generator would use. We would run it for several hours and then turn it off for a few hours. I would leave it off at night. We lost power Thursday at 9 pm. 20 seconds later it cranked up and gave us power. On Monday the propane guy came and fill us up with 67 gallons. I still had 133 to go!!!! I can not imagine ever having a house without a Generac generator. We ran both air conditioner compressors, and everything else. Our internet never went out. Our life was as if we had not lost power. We at times really felt guilty having all the luxuries while other people suffered. Our house was set to 72 degrees and ran both refrigerators too. The only negative I have is the LED quit working. There is only a blank display. I really hope Generac helps me with this issue. It did not hurt the performance during the storm, however; I can not see my hours etc. As a storm Generator, this display should survive. This is the only reason I knocked a star off. Please help a Hurricane Florence survivor out.

We just had our 18kw, whole house, wi-fi enabled Gererac generator installed and couldn't be more pleased with the Generac unit, its easy to understand features, the peace of mind in knowing that we now have electrical outage restoration reliability sitting in our back yard like an electrical guardian! A very worthwhile investment for peace of mind!

The most prominent feature of our 24kw generator is the peace of mind that it carries. Had ours installed by Mr. Watts Electrical following the recent cold snap here in North Texas. They had units in stock where other installers were 4-7 months out. The installation was done by one of Mr. Watts Electrical team of professional plumbers and electricians. Both my wife and I are pleased and highly recommend this product.

Moved to Florida last year and have been wanting to get a Generac installed, today my wish came true! She's in and ready to go. Found a great certified Geneac contractor on the web site. From estimate to install he was top notch. On time, fair pricing, a pleasure to work with. Now we feel safe should any storm come our way.
