I can't attest to it really working yet as we just had it installed today but all tests worked. My review is for Banks Construction! What a great team of people. They worked in inclement weather to get this in and we greatly appreciate their professionalism and great work!

I live in unincorporated New Lenox; seems we lost power a lot. (Older Section, Above Lines, Transformers) Now retired with my wife, don't want to be messing around with extension cords, portable generator that won't start @ 3:00AM in the morning (plus No gas). After talking to Baker Electric @ the Tinley Park, Illinois home show, I was SOLD! (And I went to buy windows, so go figure). The Generac is the CADILLAC of Whole House Generators the way I look at it. Generac's sale's representee's are extremely helpful, responsive, and informative! Plus, the 10year warranty helped persuade me too. WELL SPENT MONEY!

Fine crew installed my generac today. Tapped into a natural gas line, put in the transfer panel, put the unit on the pad and hooked it up. Tested fine! Almost looking forward to a power outage. Real peace of mind, winter or summer, We will have heat in the cold up here in upstate NY and AC in the summer. No worry about food spoiling and having to light candles and sitting around unable to even read a book. We opted to have the whole house and out buildings covered. I can even go out to my garage to work!

We just moved into a 15 year-old house with a sump pump and could not afford to have the electricity go out. I knew Generac's are excellent, in part because my 2 brothers and I have identical 5500 watt portable generators which have worked flawlessly for years, and in part because I have never seen a product with thousands of reviews be so uniformly recommended. In fact, the buyers actually requested I include the portable generator with the house as a condition of the sale. When we decided to protect the entire house because of the sump pump, we found a Generac preferred dealer nearby who gave us a fair price and exceptional service, and our extremely happy with our purchase. Just had our new whole house generator installed today. It tested out perfectly and I have every bit of faith it will perform flawlessly. Its not the best looking addition but it could have been so much worse. If we ever have the need to use it, I will update with a new review.

7 Year Warranty When we looked at purchasing a generator in March of this year we were told that if we purchased it we would get an additional seven year warranty with $695. The generator was delivered in September because of delays with Generac, which we understand, but now we are being told that because we didn't take delivery in the month that we purchased it that we cannot have the warranty because it was with a third party supplier. I don't think we should be penalized because Generac was unable to supply the generator in a timely manner. Would you please contact me and let me know why my purchase promise is not being honored?

Just had it installed today. Installation went very well, employees were prompt, professional, polite and very pleasant to work with. Explanation of overall features and how the generator works very detailed, yet easy to understand. Will be happy to provide further review after we have had the unit for 1 year.

I order this unit after my electric service decided to start turning off power depending on weather and wind conditions. We had to wait an long time due to high voulme of generator installs and weather. After suffering thru several power outages due to weather we finally got our unit installed yesterday. They struggled to even get into our house but they managed. The installation was completed yesterday afternoon with 8-19" on snow on the ground. We currently have cold storms on the way hope the power stays on for others but we no longer woory. I would highly recommend this product for peace of mind and power outages

Just had this generator installed about three weeks ago, after a four month wait from Generac. We lost power just last night due to heavy winds and downed power lines. As expected, this generator kicked right on and we never missed a beat. I can't say enough good about our installation company, "All Install" . They kept me informed throughout the entire wait time and as soon as the generator came in from Generac they put me on the schedule for install. The install team was very thorough and accommodating in helping choose the circuits that would run on this generator. A+++ for All Install
