Btw, 5 stars for the product itself, minus 4 stars for the stealth inflation. Did you notice that Northern has reduced the number of sheets per roll from 271 to 244 recently? Ignoring the current instant savings of $3, here's the math ... was $22.28 - (271 sheets/roll, 32 rolls) = .2569 cents per sheet now $21.68 - (244 sheets/roll, 32 rolls) = .2777 cents per sheet That’s a fraction off a 10% reduction in paper and a real increase in cost of 8.1%. Welcome to shrinkflation, not the first I've seen and not the last.

Excellent savings

I don't think our family used Quilted Northern toilet paper most of the time. We tended to buy a thinner TP by another company because it was recommended by a plumber, i.e., it was easy to flush. However, once Quilted Northern started packaging the TP in paper rather than plastic, it became the only TP we bought. We avoid buying anything plastic, whenever possible, including things that come in plastic packaging. After using if for a couple of weeks, I realized it is an excellent product, far better than most toilet paper we usually used to use. We probably would not have tried the Ultra Soft & Strong if it had not come in paper wrapping. However, now Quilted Northern seems to have given up wrapping its TP in paper. It has gone back to packaging the Ultra Soft & Strong TP in plastic. We are now reluctant to buy it, looking for other alternatives. This is unfortunate because the TP inside the package is very good.

I bought this a couple of weeks ago because I finally getting low. I decided to splurge. While the paper is soft, I am disappointed that we are being shorted. Not only are the rolls about a half inch shorter, they are different sizes within the package. I probably would have noticed except I decided to save the tubes to make some bird feeder tubes. What a joke.

This packaging used to be for 32 Jumbo rolls with 271 sheets per role. The slightly modified packaging doesn't alert consumers to each role being reduced by 27 sheets per, or 864 sheets per package. However, the packing still boasts over $16 dollars in savings. I'm tired of companies scamming consumers with changes like this. We're not saving money, and we're paying the same for less.

I used to LOVE Quilted Northern. But now it is really thin like one ply. My biggest issue is that there are hard white plastic like pieces in it! I don't have any idea what it could be, but it wasn't in just one roll. EVERY roll had HUNDREDS of these pieces. Had one get embedded in my skin! Will NEVER buy again!!

The quality has really gone down hill recently. Maybe it was caused by the tp shortage. Fast productions. 35 rolls in a 36 pack. Tissue coming off the rolls at4 plies at a time. Several times. Cutting 4 lines very crooked in others no just one pack , several packs.

Lots of tp great value and quality.

This stuff is awful - narrow rolls with very few sheets. Don't waste your money!
