If I'm flushing my money away, I'm doing it with Quilted Northern Ultra Soft & Strong®. This is the only product my family will use and for good reason. Everything we tried either ripped or left behind little trails of toilet paper (yuck!). I finally decided to try Quilted Northern Ultra Soft & Strong. It is, hands down, the best toilet paper I've used. I love the stretch technology and how it's durable, but soft at the same time. It doesn't feel like sandpaper, but it also doesn't feel like a puff ball of dust. It's the PERFECT toilet paper and it's reasonably priced. My family highly recommends it! I have been a loyal customer of Northern for at least 25 years, but no more! Over the years, I have seen the rolls get narrower, and the paper get "fluffier" on the roll, but there is far less paper on the roll. I was changing the roll daily for two people, when I realized that something was really wrong with this situation. I have changed to another brand, and I could not be happier. Northern insults our intelligence if they think we don't realize how they manipulate the amount of paper on the rolls, even as the prices go up.

The strong texture on this tissue goes a long way with the amount of the tissue used in one visit to the restroom. It may have less square footage than others BUT you do use less which is a major cost-saving item. My husband does not want me to buy ANY OTHER, no matter if its on sale or not. I've tried others that were on sale but end up spending more money because of the thin texture on 80% of other brands.
