Love my GermGuardians! I could tell a difference right away in my air quality! I went from constantly sneezing and blowing my noose from allergies to not. I turned the units on, one in the living room and one in the bedroom a hour later it was like walking into a new room. I did NOT however like the shipping, Fedex damaged my items shipping box through to scratching one of the units, but that isn't the machines fault!!! Sam's took care of me though!

We have three border collies who are mostly confined to the main floor and our room - both are hardwood. As you can imagine, the hair is nuts! Well since we purchased this we have only had to vacuum every 2 days or so! This is opposed to my typical 2-4x a day!! Bottom line, this is a great purchase and we can’t wait to get more! They do have some noise to them, but it’s jusy a typical fan sound which we find relaxing. If that’s not your thing then I could see maybe going another route. BUT I’m in love! Can’t believe we went without these for so long!

Somewhat loud even at it's lowest setting, but it works great as white noise when sleeping. Have been using it for the past 2 weeks and so far it's fantastic - I sleep through the night without waking up with runny nose (bc I am allergic to everything).

So far these air purifiers are great. One is located in a good sized room with a litter box. We have noticed a big difference in the amount of dust in the room as well as the bad smell. The other is located near the kitchen. The kithen smells of cooking food have greatly reduced as well (we cook a lot!). Our allergies seem to be doing much betfer. We are thinking of buying a couple more as we have a large house. I would highly recommend these!

Bought for a friend who smokes in her apartment. It's been running for 3 weeks now on level 2 (second to Lowes speed) in two rooms. When I returned, the smokiness has been significantly reduced. The noise is like a fan on low-doesn't disturb her television viewing. Very pleased.

As soon I got these running I noticed a distinct difference in the air. I love using these and ability to adjust mode/speed is great. Highly recommend for anyone with allergies or wanting cleaner fresher air. The other great advantage is no worries with small children since no fan blades to worry about.

It is reallly strong, and dramatically changes the air in the room, helped me tremendously with an allergy. I am middle aged BUT my elderly mother did not like the air and complained, I can't put my finger on it so I can only caution that if you stick this in a closed room with babies, or sensitive or elderly people, look out for possible resperatory discomfort in that person. I wouldn't put it in an infant's room either becasue they cannot speak enough to express if they have discomfort.

Our air quality index has been currently ranging from 50 to 120 due to the wildfires on the west coast. Looked at several different air purifiers and decided to purchase this model due to their manufacturer's good reputation and also the fact that replacement filters were readily available (unlike a couple of other units that were on sale). My house is 2700 sq ft and these units are keeping up with the air quality by letting them run 24 hours per day. Haven't run the UV lights (other than to verify they are operational). During the day, run the fans at full speed - #5 setting. At night, in my bedroom, run at medium speed - #3 setting as it is quieter and the room is smaller. At full speed, the sound is noticeable but not annoying. At the lowest speed, #1, can barely hear the fan running. Been using them since receival over two weeks ago, not sure how long the filters will last but ordered a spare set of filters just in case. Coming in from outside, the air quality improvement inside the house is quite noticeable as well as less dust accumulating on the furniture as compared to the past.

Love these air purifiers really didn’t think I had a dust problem I just thought you dust regularly that was a norm but now I don’t even see dust to dust.

I didn’t want to review these until I had used them for a few weeks. I have noticed a difference in air quality but that alone wasn’t enough to save it from the rating I left. These are LOUD!!! I really wish I could return them but it’s a few days past the return policy.
