I try to ride a little every day and work my way up in time and resistance. It's SO easy to use and operate. It's VERY quiet so I can ride while watching tv! It keeps a log of my past uses also. Its seriously an overall fantastic bike that is also comfortable and easy on my joints and back! I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend this bike!

After another back surgery, my legs have been very weak. This bike is easy to get in and out of for someone like me who has trouble walking. I've been building up from 5 minutes to longer workouts---now up to 15 minutes. It's very sturdy and solid, and really quiet. It's an excellent bike for senior citizens or someone working to strengthen their legs.

I was gifted a Schwinn Airdyne in 1994. I can't even guess how many miles I put on that bike. Now that I'm older I find it more difficult to get on and off the Airdyne. I decided to get one off your recumbent bikes. It works great and I'm very pleased with my new exercise bike. My first bicycle back in 1962 was a Schwinn. I guess I love the brand, especially for the quality! Thank you! Jim

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] In the last few years I have experienced issues with both depth perception and balance. I have also moved back to Northern NH and I thought it would be a wise investment to purchase a stationary bike to exercise in my home thru the winter instead of taking the risk of walking for exercise out in the snowy, icy environment where I live.

I use this bike for steady state, zero impact cardio. I love how easy it is to adjust and it is next to silent. I wish the bottle holder was in a different area. My arm always bumps into whatever is in the holder. The seat isn't the most comfortable, but adding a towel to sit on resolves it easily.

Use the product daily. Quiet, well made. Disappointed in changes made since we purchased our last 230 model. Seat is no longer padded (aware after market seat pad can be purchased) and is uncomfortable with my daily 60 min work out. Foot pedals are smaller and lower to the ground. Straps are smaller; I am a female w/size 9 shoe, and several of my workout shoes do not fit onto the pedal with straps at largest setting, resulting in shoe hitting floor. By the way, link in email requesting this review opens to a review of The Schwinn 411 elliptical not the Schwinn 230 recumbent bike we purchased. Unable to change it; completed this review regardless in hopes it is helpful.

I ride multiple times per week. My Technogym broke so I opted to replace it with the Schwinn. It's an okay bike. Does the job. We found one of the last pieces that covers the wheel impossible to attach so it's kind of propped there. My husband says he may be able to screw it into place but it's an imperfect make or it wouldn't be so hard to put together. Something was just off about the parts fitting together correctly . Seen as that I don't want to go thru the hassle and time it would take to replace and take apart again etc I'm just going to deal as it's a cosmetic inconvenience and doesn't affect the operation of the bike. Just looks tacky and comes across cheaply made.

This machine was easy enough to set up with a video from YouTube that walked me through each step. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars ⭐️ is the diagrams looked more complex than they actually were. Solid and sturdy and simple. It's a great machine to start out on.. I enjoy it..

I have CHD and exercise everyday for heart health. I bought this machine to replace the Schwinn 430 Elliptical that I've used for the past seven years. In fact, I'd still be using that older one but it needed parts that were no longer available. I bought this 411 because its smaller and our house is small. I've used the 411 for a week now and I'm getting used to it. The console doesn't store any data, so to track my results, I have to make a quick note. If I were to customize a workout, I would have to do so each day as the console can't save it. Also, at the start of the workout, the left runner feels lumpy, but settles out after a few minutes. I've checked and rechecked to insure all screws and nuts are tight. I really like the footpads. The are much smaller than those on the 430 so my feet hold their position much better. Assembly was straight forward. The only problem was that one of the screws holding the left handle in place would not go in all the way. I think the problem is in the female connection that may have taken too much paint. I fixed the problem by cutting off a 1/4 inch of the screw and tightened it completely.
