Moreover, we haven't noticed any red marks or rashes on him when he wears them, unlike with some other brands. The clasps are impressively sturdy yet gentle. All in all, these diapers rank among the best we've ever used.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Huggies Skin Essential Diapers claim to protect against diaper rash and provide up to 100% leak proof protection. I tested them for 1 week against my my wholesale store brand diaper. I tried size 2, for my 3 month 15 lb baby boy. For the purpose of this review I cautiously discontinued use of my diaper rash cream. The diapers did an EXCELLENT job wicking moisture from his skin. Normally, on hot days, I expect to see a small rash on his bum area. With these diapers he experienced NO rash, even after lengthy bouts of time between changes ( as we were out A LOT last week). The back of the diaper successfully prevented blowouts. One day I didn't even know he pooped because the diaper contained the smell and mess so well; however, his skin still looked perfect. As far as the amount of absorbency goes, I would say these aren't as thick as my "go to" brand. He required 1 diaper change during the night to prevent pee from spilling up through the top/front. Our "go to" doesn't spill up top.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] At first everything was going fine but then I realized that the material on the diaper was tearing everytime I closed the diaper. Most specifically the strap area… we aren’t sure why. As for leaks we had a couple. We dumbed it down to maybe the diaper being too small. Even though it wasn’t giving us a hard time to close. So maybe it would’ve worked out if it was a size bigger.

My baby is on the smaller side and these diapers fit her frame perfectly. These diapers do a great job of lifting locking in moisture, my baby with wore a diaper at night for over 6 hours and there was no wetness on her skin.

Both the outside and inside are incredibly soft and smooth making it a product I am proud to have on my child’s skin. We have put diapers to the test with large poops and long stretches at night and are happy to report we have not had a single leak. The diaper is very secure where it needs to be, but allows for movement and ventilation. This diaper would work well for a child of any age and provide protection and comfort. They have almost a lotion silky feel. These would be perfect for newborns. And what’s even better is they still hold pee and blow outs amazingly. My new Favorite!
