I had been looking online for milk that does not require refrigeration for the Back Pack Buddy program in our area without success. Works great for me. I love that it’s shelf-stable, so I can use it as needed and not worry about spoilage. I just keep it in the pantry — perfect!

The product is fine, however it arrived with an extremely short expiration date (2months). I don't know if this was a Sams issue or a Horizon issue. I called Horizon to ask what the shelf life was. I got a 15 minute runaround and no answer other than "the expiration date is on the package". Even looking on line I could not find an answer. A 2 month expiration date defeats the purpose. Until I get some answers I will not purchase again.

I bought this for winter storage, the expiration date is next month. Won't buy again for the price.
