My previous mattress was medium firmness and became lumpy so fast that I haven’t slept well in months. I jumped up to the extra-firm, as the hubby and I are both back/front sleepers, and it has worked out perfectly. I was at first apprehensive due to the “extra” firmness but it has made me a believer. I finally am sleeping well. I appreciate the heft and quality of this mattress. The quilting on the top and sides says quality and it looks like pilling won’t be a problem. There’s handles to adjust when needed and I absolutely love that the fabric is black. No more funky spots if a kid crawls in bed and has an accident (and they’d better not!) I’ve only been on it for an evening but immediately have the relief I was seeking for my lower back pain. I’m not completely pain free but am able to get out of it without the immense pain I had from my previous bed. I look forward to future nights with this purchase.
