Let me start off by saying RUN to get this protector. We just spent 800$ on a new mattress and last minute decided we needed a protector too. We have a 15 inch memory foam mattress and it fit like a glove. Yes you have to have two people zippering it but once it’s fully zipped it feels snug without feeling too tight. We have a toddler and of course week one owning the mattress he throws a cup of chocolate milk all over the bed , so now it was down to the wire on weather or not it’s actually water proof , and to no surprise it did exactly what it was said to have done. Absolutely nothing got on my brand new mattress , don’t let looks deceive because even though it is thin it is most definitely waterproof!

I put this on my bed and let my son sleep in my bed as well just to see how well it works. Usually he is up all times of the night coughing and sneezing. Since using this he sleeps through the night! I went a purchased one for his bed! I cant believe how well it helped both our allergies. It was very easy to slip on my mattress and it fits great! I definitely recommend this to anyone who is looking for mattress protection.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Once we were able to get the cover on it was nice. It isn't too hot or crinkly-sounding as other covers. One frustrating part was the zipper. While trying to get it zipped up, the zipper kept getting stuck in this little overlapping fabric behind the zipper. Also there are very nice instructions on the cardboard cover on how to put the mattress on with two people. Unfortunately the instructions of standing the mattress vertically would not work for our bed. Standing the mattress upright isn't an option because of low ceilings and a ceiling fan. Even with that limitation we were able to get the cover on. It took a little extra effort but it was doable. Another minor annoyance was once the mattress cover was in place it was very puffy with air. We had to unzip flatten out the air. Fabric however is very soft and odorless.

I have terrible allergies, and cough a lot at night due to the allergies, I purchased these a couple of weeks ago and I love them has a very soft top and it completely seal your mattress. I bought a new mattress last year hoping that it would help with my allergies. I put the new pillow and matteress covers on and it has cut back considerably on my symptons. I sleep better and am happy with my purschase! Cathy

I can only assume they find this material more durable, as it will have much less chance of ripping. I never had a bug or allergy problem, but when they do surface, sometimes u never know it, so its a good insurance policy....

It has a full zippered feature and I really like that it is a bed bug and dust mite barrier. It is soft to the touch and comfortable. No plastic feel. I would say that this mattress protector is a great value all around.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was hesitant about using this AllerEase mattress protector for the simple fact that I thought it would be plastic/crinkle type feeling BUT it's NOT! I can barely tell it is on my mattress! It is "silky" smooth feeling which is great. It was super easy to put on and use.I have a queen size mattress that is "deep" and this fits perfectly! It is machine washable.
