I got this to cover our mattress to ease my allergy to dust mites. When it arrived I realized our mattress is super deep and I was worried it would not fit. It fit perfectly. I love the zipper. The quality seems great. It does not make a crinkle noise or anything when you lie on it...I cannot tell it is there.

I want to protect mine and extend it's life, so I got the AllerEase Mattress Protector. It is definitely a two person job to install, but that's because a queen size mattress is large, heavy and unwieldy. After using it for several weeks, it seems that my allergies are not as bad. I travel a lot, and have always worried about bringing bugs home, so the added benefit of protection from infestation is a definite plus!

This has been a very busy year all over the place with bedbugs and I wouldn't let anyone come into the house I was afraid I would get them.As now I have protection for one bed but will.invest into others for the rest. In less than 5 minutes, you can have a barrier from allergens and bed bugs. I am using this in my guest room, so it being washable was a must. It does not crumple under the sheets or make a rustling noise. The material also feels like it would be a good barrier against bed wetters. Highly recommended product!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was very happy when I got this zippered mattress protector. I have allergies in the spring and fall and I hope that this will help. It is machine washable which is great. I didn't have any help to put it on the mattress and it was not a very easy task because our mattress is heavy. However, if two people were working together (as recommend by the instructions), this would be easy. I also like the feel of the fabric and it is not making an annoying sound when covered with sheet and person laying on it. One thing that I wish is for it to be more tight over the mattress, but not a problem when covered with sheet. Overall, I am very happy with this and I am now thinking about getting the pillow cover.

I haven't had anything spill on it so I don't know how well it prevents leaks. However to me it is uncomfortable and doesn't feel like you're sleeping on a soft mattress. And is almost like plastic.
