Maybe works a little too good! Condensation built up inside the cover and being waterproof had nowhere to go but into the mattress causing black mold! Ruined my $1200 mattress. Do yourself a favor if you dont skimp on your mattress dont skimp on your mattress protector!

That being said we wanted to extend the life of the mattress and seal in any dust or allergens because I am very sensitive to mold and dust. This works perfectly. We put a piece of foam over it and there’s no way to tell it’s not a brand new mattress!

It does have a plastic feel but once you put the sheets on it is okay and you can't feel it. I think it is a good product to protect my mattress and it fits the bed perfect.

In less than 5 minutes, you can have a barrier from allergens and bed bugs. I am using this in my guest room, so it being washable was a must. It does not crumple under the sheets or make a rustling noise. The material also feels like it would be a good barrier against bed wetters. Highly recommended product!
