This is maybe a $20 headset at best. The volume doesn't go up very high at all, and I have excellent hearing. There's no independent voice/game volume adjustments. The mute button for the mic is in an odd spot. The overall build quality is good, however.

The sound is pretty standard as far as headsets go. Biggest draw back is that it echoes and you have to unplug it and plug it back in periodically to fix it. However, it remains a constant problem you keep having to do…over and over. This is my secondary headset for when my Wireless version has to charge. I recommend the Wireless Xbox Headset over this one.

yea. no doubt this is easily 5 stars. high quality, good sound, overall design is good. i like the volume dial at the right side makes it easy to adjust the volume seamlessly for games and dvds, especially gunsmoke, because you know, being an older tv show, the volume tends to be so low you can hardly hear it, compared to a more modern media ie skyrim. comfortable to wear for an extended skyrim session.

These headphones are pretty good. Sound is pretty good. Better than what I expected. Communication with my teammates is good. There’s the mute option with it and that’s extremely handy especially when I’m yelling at my kids. lol. The mic is not bulky at all and works well. I don’t sound far when talking with other gamers. If you’re looking for a first time, good quality, affordable headset then you can’t beat these.

Lots of static and not just every once in a while, but constantly. I use this headset plugged into an Xbox controller, and an Xbox controller keypad. In both cases, there was a lot of static because the headset cable would move slightly. I know it wasn’t the ports on either of the devices, the headset was plugged into you, because I eventually bought a higher quality headset, plugged it in and everything worked fine. This had said it’s just poor quality and it’s a shame it doesn’t even work with its own Xbox accessories. It just means that the manufacturing and or materials are not adequate.

Unexpectedly outperformed my expectations.. It’s a very nice headset in terms of audio, build quality, comfortability, and convenience. The mic arm is easily moved from vision and easily muted and unmuted with a slide switch. Good mic quality as well. Also, yes, you can blow peoples eardrums out with it if you wanted to lol. The volume wheel is also super unique in the fact the right side headphone cover is used as the volume wheel. Audio.. crisp, clean, and good bass even on music and shows.

This is great for a casual gamer like myself. I don’t mind being connected to the controller via 3.5mm headphone jack, since I am going to set them both down anyway if I walk away for a sec. Haven’t used it for chat yet but it’s got good quality sound. My only real gripe is that when I take them off, I always rotate the ear cup volume control unintentionally. I’d love if that was a small wheel or something harder to move.

Let me orerace this review by saying, truthfully, i rarely write a review, and thats saying something given the amount of online shopping i do. However, i feel i had to write a review for this product. These headphones are not bad, or terrible, or sub-par, theyre actually USELESS. once they run out of a charge, they appear to not be able to be recharged. I ordered 2 pairs thinking i would use one at work and one at home, but BOTH are experiencing the same issue. i even left them both on the charger overnight and when you go to turn it on, the indicator light both flash red and then go off. There is no way to turn them back on. Sending yhem both back.

Terrible sound quality it has constant static

I was blown away by how incredibly amazing these sound and feel! I’ve had more expensive headsets, but these blow them out of the water! I highly recommend!
