Lots of static and not just every once in a while, but constantly. I use this headset plugged into an Xbox controller, and an Xbox controller keypad. In both cases, there was a lot of static because the headset cable would move slightly. I know it wasn’t the ports on either of the devices, the headset was plugged into you, because I eventually bought a higher quality headset, plugged it in and everything worked fine. This had said it’s just poor quality and it’s a shame it doesn’t even work with its own Xbox accessories. It just means that the manufacturing and or materials are not adequate.

yea. no doubt this is easily 5 stars. high quality, good sound, overall design is good. i like the volume dial at the right side makes it easy to adjust the volume seamlessly for games and dvds, especially gunsmoke, because you know, being an older tv show, the volume tends to be so low you can hardly hear it, compared to a more modern media ie skyrim. comfortable to wear for an extended skyrim session.

I like that it didn’t cost very much and it works perfectly for now, but all my previous headsets were very expensive ones and something very small caused it to ruin the entire headset and I was out of a headset within usually 6 to 8 months. It honestly seems like video game manufactures make their products to breakdown around that time so you buy another one I don’t know how they do it but every time I buy a controller I headset any kind of accessories. It breaks down in a very short time I have not had this very long, so I will let you know if and when it breaks down, but hopefully I have found the only headset known to man that will last longer than one year. Stay tuned.

These headphones are pretty good. Sound is pretty good. Better than what I expected. Communication with my teammates is good. There’s the mute option with it and that’s extremely handy especially when I’m yelling at my kids. lol. The mic is not bulky at all and works well. I don’t sound far when talking with other gamers. If you’re looking for a first time, good quality, affordable headset then you can’t beat these.

The sound is pretty standard as far as headsets go. Biggest draw back is that it echoes and you have to unplug it and plug it back in periodically to fix it. However, it remains a constant problem you keep having to do…over and over. This is my secondary headset for when my Wireless version has to charge. I recommend the Wireless Xbox Headset over this one.

It's a good headset for the Xbox. Sometimes there is interference from the controller itself that's it's plugged into and the headset might go in and out. But it's rare. They are relatively comfortable, as long as you don't wear them for hours. The sound is loud and clear especially if you have dobly atmos. I would recommend buying these if you have the Xbox series s or x.

Unexpectedly outperformed my expectations.. It’s a very nice headset in terms of audio, build quality, comfortability, and convenience. The mic arm is easily moved from vision and easily muted and unmuted with a slide switch. Good mic quality as well. Also, yes, you can blow peoples eardrums out with it if you wanted to lol. The volume wheel is also super unique in the fact the right side headphone cover is used as the volume wheel. Audio.. crisp, clean, and good bass even on music and shows.
