[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Seemed quite firm even after trying all the break in techniques offered. Swapped it for a Soft but that still seems firmer than we are used to. For the price, we should be able to swap more that one time and without the $175 fee.

I purchased the Tempur-Pedic Model 10737150M mattress from Ashley Furniture in New Rochelle, NY, on June 8, 2024. I received the mattress in the first week of July but was traveling for the summer. Once I started using it, I gradually began experiencing severe back pain. By October, my back was so inflamed that I had to reach out to Ashley Furniture for assistance. To my surprise, I was informed that I had no warranty because I had bought the mattress as an "as-is" floor model. I explained that I didn't know they were selling defective products and that they should stand behind the items they sell, especially when it comes to something as expensive as a Tempur-Pedic mattress. They then told me to contact Tempur-Pedic directly if I believed the mattress was defective. However, despite multiple attempts to get in touch with Tempur-Pedic, I received no response. Now, I wake up in excruciating pain every morning, and I'm also experiencing significant discomfort in the middle of the night. I can only sleep on my back, and even then, the sleep I get is minimal. The mattress feels much too soft for a medium Tempur-Pedic, and I am in constant pain when sitting on it for any period of time. For context, I've had a Tempur-Pedic mattress for over 10 years without any issues, so I know how they should feel. This has been an absolutely horrible experience, and I feel like I've wasted my money. I will never purchase another Tempur-Pedic mattress again and strongly advise others to be cautious when considering a purchase. The pain and frustration I've experienced have made this an incredibly disappointing investment.

After my husband fell and fractured his pelvis our current mattress was too soft. Our sales person recommended the firm Pro-Adapt and it was amazing. SOLD! We also purchased the adjustable base for the mattress which we highly recommend. The first night with the mattress and base we slept 9 hours! The base has done wonders to keep my husband from snoring.

We purchased a King Tempur-ProAdapt in firm. After seven months, we wish we could undo this purchase. Our previous two mattresses were both firm, traditional independent coil. This would be our first memory foam mattress. Neither my wife nor I sleep consistently well on the Tempur-Pedic. This mattress chases you off it - I literally find myself getting out of bed in the morning because I can no longer stand the discomfort my body is feeling, specifically, pain through my pelvis and hip region as well as sore shoulders and numb arms. The hip and pelvis pain is with me continually and the sad part is I have learned to live with it. Recently, a second seven day vacation away from our Tempur-Pedic, I realized my hip/pelvis and shoulders stop hurting within a day or two. I spoke with Tempur-Pedic, but their response was to keep the room cool and to consider purchasing their mattress topper which would *maybe* help soften things up. I never stated this mattress is too firm, there is more to it than that. This mattress brought pain my mid-40's body has never felt. Read reviews and if you're having problems early on, react immediately, we're stuck with this thing now and we'll have to absorb a second mattress purchase in under a year. They claim their customer service is so great, why not try to help someone and send them a mattress topper after they just spent thousands on your product and are now afraid to use it.

When i got into bed the first night, it felt a little firmer than I remembered from the store trial. I vaguely remember saying, "Oh darn, I hope we didn't make a big mis-zzzzzzzzzz...". About eight hours later, I woke up, fully refreshed and feeling better than I had for ten years. Getting out of bed was easier also, without the usual sore and stiff spots.

Cannot wait to go to bed each night with our new King Pro-Adapt Firm Mattress. We have been through at least 10 different mattresses over the last 15 years or so and I was always afraid to pull the trigger and buy a Tempur-Pedic. Finally did and kick myself for not doing it sooner. This is the best feeling mattress ever. I will never go back to an inner spring nor could I ever see myself sleeping on a "Bed-In-A-Box" mattress. I sleep better, more soundly. I don't find myself getting hot with this mattress as some people have complained about. Tem[ur-Pedic may not be for everyone, but I, myself am glad I took the plunge. Oh, and my husband loves it too.

The most comfortable mattress I have ever owned. We had a TempurPedic a number of years ago, but it was hot. This mattress is so cool and comfortable, I fall asleep faster and sleep all night. I also bought an adjustable base with it and it has cured my snoring. I would recommend this mattress to anyone. Definitely a five star (+) product.

Tempurpedic replaced my 9-y/o mattress and the new one is fantastic. I have back issues that benefit greatly. I like the springs in the hybrid version, but wonder about the "popping" sound of them readjusting when I get out of bed - not a problem, just a new sound.

Very happy with the way the mattress sleeps. Only complaint is its so comfortable and with no cording on the edge I sometimes wake up feeling like I'm sliding out of the bed. But, still love it and it's a huge improvement for my husband who suffers with a bad back.

I really hate to give a poor review but I just cannot get a good night's sleep on this mattress. I wake with aches and pains every morning and some mornings with a headache. I do not feel rested because I toss and turn throughout the night. I made the mistake of purchasing the mattress from somewhere other than Tempur-Pedic and cannot get them to honor the exchange/refund process that Tempur-Pedic provides. Highly recommend that Tempur-Pedic sell their own mattress in order to allow customers to utilize the exchange/refund which keeps customers happy even if they are not happy with the mattress.
