My husband and I LOVE our new bed and base!! His back and hips sleep more comfortably than they have in years and he can get out of bed easily again. I love being cooler when sleeping...no more sweating all night for the first time in decades. Worth every penny!

Historically I have purchased relatively expensive traditional mattresses with varying success at comfort. For my last mattress, I moved to a well reviewed traditional name brand, memory foam mattress and had a great experience (I thought) for about the first 3 years; ultimately over the course of the last 2 years developing soft spots and a general feeling of sinking into the mattress worse than I had with traditional mattresses. I don't know how the pro-adapt hybrid mattress will fair over time, but I can tell you it is better on one day one than my all my previous mattresses have been, being incredibly forgiving on body curves while still being supportive. I am 6'1", average around 220 lbs, am a side sleeper, and have had two L5/S1 procedures. Where historically I'd turn over due to pressure points in my shoulder, hips or back (traditional mattress) or felt like I was trying to turn over in wet sand (all memory foam), the pro-adapt med hybrid is perfect for my weight and sleeping style. I acknowledge there is generally a price premium to Tempur-Pedic, and I will have to evaluate performance over the long term, but I definitely feel that this mattress type (hybrid) is executed well, suited to my weight and sleeping style, and that I'm getting a better, much less interrupted night's sleep than I have in perhaps a decade (I turn MUCH less). Recommend the brand, but also recommend taking the time to try out and find the correct version for you.

I waited to post this review to give this mattress a good test. We have had it 4 months now and it sleeps great. It's amazing how much more rested my wife and I are each morning after sleeping on our TEMPUR-ProAdapt Medium Hybrid Mattress as compared to our traditional spring mattress. My wide wears a Fitbit to bed and often gets sleep scores in the upper 80s to 90 with this mattress. We added a thin mattress protector so we could fully feel the comfort and coolness of the Tempur foam layer. It's not hot like some foam beds. Free delivery and free hauling away of the old mattress were added bonuses.

This mattress is WONDERFUL. The first three or four weeks it is VERY firm. Trust me, having owned two Tempurpedics, a Snuggle-Pedic, a Nectar Lush, and two off brands, there is nothing better than a FIRM Tempurpedic. When it feels too firm in the store, just know it will soften over time! (The softer ones do too - that's the problem with them!) Back pain is reduced, and both my wife and I can once again snuggle closely on our sides without sinkage! Thank you, Tempurpedic!

We love our new TEMPUR-ProAdapt Medium Hybrid bed with its TEMPURERGO Smart frame. The bed is so comfortable, and we love to set it at a very slight incline. We always had to stuff pillows or towels under our old mattress to get the same affect. Now if we want to read in bed, we can set it so we are sitting up and can also turn the virbrator on and enjoy reading before going to bed. The bed itself is so comfortable and literally engulfs our body for a perfect night sleep. We can hardly wait to see what our score is each morning after a good night sleep.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This mattress solved my knee and back pain issues! It was a little firmer (hard) to start but quickly softened up to the right firmness for me. It's great regardless of the position you sleep in. I use a CPAP and was still stopping breathing more than my Doctor liked. After I started sleeping on this mattress, my events per night reduced greatly and are now within acceptable limits! Best nights sleep you can get! I look at his as an investment to better sleep and better health!

The delivery was excellent, efficient and caring about our home. Set up was good and right on time. We have had great sleep every night since we got our mattress. After so many nights tossing and turning we finally found the perfect mattress. We never even thought we would get a tempurpedic mattress but we were so happy with her sales person and the way we were shown every type of mattress and all choices we could make.

We absolutely love this bed! Prior to this we had bought a "memory foam" bed on line that was suppose to be amazing (little to no reviews, no one heard of it) and what ended up happening is, it was not good enough! I would get out of bed and my whole body ached! I thought, "I guess this is what old feels like" (I'm 30 years old). My husband stands on his feet all day and would complain of back pain, again we assumed it was being over weight and getting old (he's 33). To our surprise the bed was firmer than the show model and took some getting used to, maybe 5 nights. I immediately noticed a difference when I woke up and stood up from the bed, no pain, and no aches! I feel completely young again! My husband hasn't had back pain since! He has more energy now and we could not be happier! We would recommend this type of bed for everyone! There is a reason why they are the best and we now know, we cant put a price a good sleep! Ok people, I'm 22 years old. I've slept in three beds in my entire life. Obviously started out in a crib, moved to a twin and slept on that same mattress until about 19. Moved in with my fiance and sleeping in a king mattress until May 11th 2020 when our Split King Pro-Adapt mattresses finally arrived! We both got to the point where we were having a lot of problems in our old mattress. He has sciatic nerve issues occasionally and is always tossing and turning. I am a very light sleeper and was barely sleeping the last 3 weeks before our new mattress was delivered. The nerves in my lower legs also seem to go crazy when I am laying down so any type of movement from my fiance makes it that much more stressful especially when he thinks he has to launch hmself in and out of bed in the middle of the night lol. It was miserable! We decided to get a firm split king because of our different needs though we both wanted a firm mattress and I had read previous reviews where some people no longer felt their partner move around so that really made me want a split king. We decided to pair it with the Ergo adjustable base (Separate review.. life changing) and it took over a month to get everything delivered but finally low and behold we are sleeping better! Love me a firm mattress! Our old one just felt too soft and I couldn't seem to find a position where my body truley felt relaxed. I barely feel him moving around and the nerves in my legs have calmed down so much I would assume due to now I sleep wih the bottom end of the mattress lifted (Thanks Ergo base)! I have been sleeping better though still having some issues on night where I just can't sleep. I am getting ready to buy some new pillows from here that I think will work with the mattress and base and completely fix all of my problems! If you get a firm, once you set it up, it will feel really hard but don't be alarmed! That will change when it warms up to the temp of the room. When we set it up and sat on it, we looked at each other like uhhhhhhh this is like laying on cement and we were hoping we didn't just make a giant mistake lol but nope it was perfect once it warmed up! Only thing that kind of sucks is that I read you shouldn't use heated blankets on the mattress. I have been using a heated blanket the passed 2 years since my feet can't ever get warm. They are always freezing cold at night and would cramp up in the middle of the night so I'm having a lot more cramping now but it's a small price to pay. I think I just need a better comforter. Overall, I love this mattress and am trying to convince my parents they should get one too! Was well worth the money! You spend a big portion of your life in bed. Might as well be comfy! All of my future bed products will now be purchased through Tempur-Pedic!

I've have semi-quality mattresses all my life. This one kills them all. I bought a FIRM because is stops me from the tossing and turning. I also have Sleep Apnea. 1 Month into this mattress and I'm hooked. I have nights I don't recall tossing or turning. My body is well rested and I'm adjusting to the firmness of my mattress. I also purchased 2 Cloud Firm Pillows and 2 Neck Pillows. All well worth the investment of many years of restful sleep.
