We wanted to try tempur-pedic mattresses after my husband slept on one in his sister's house. We did a lot of research ahead of time and visited showrooms with the products. We chose hybrid because it lessens motion transfer. This product was way softer than we anticipated and after just a few weeks neither of us was sleeping well and both of us woke up with hip, back and knee pain. We sent the mattress back.

So this is my second tempur-pedic bed. My husband had been bugging me to get a king bed, even though the queen I had was still amazing after 7 years. So when we were shopping it looks like some of the models had changed. This after our first night sleep I immediately noticed this bed didn't sleep any where near as hot as my old one! However, like my previous bed, there is a breaking in period sort of like shoes so that the bed can sort of conform to your body. This takes a bit of time, but if you're upgrading for a not so quality bed this might be an instant upgrade. I really like the updates and changes since my last purchase and when it came time to buy a bigger bed, I really didn't consider anything else!

The comfort is amazing. I recently went on vacation. As I suspected I miss my Tempur-pedic. The only issue I have so far is finding sheets that fit the adjustable bed.

The mattress arrived on time and the delivery people were great! Unfortunately the mattress was too hard for my husband's liking. I contacted Tempur- Pedic after trying to "break" the mattress in for 30 days. They were very helpful selecting replacement mattress. Somewhere along the way wires got crossed and my order failed. I was able to get a customer support rep that seems to have taken care of the problem.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We went to a retail store to figure out what type of bed we would like and kept coming back to the Pro-Adapt: Medium Hybrid, after trying several other options. The in store bed was obviously broke in and quite comfortable. The retailer was going to charge quite a bit more for the bed so we ordered our mattress online from Tempurpedic.com. The shipping speed was fairly fast. However the bed was not quite like the in store bed which is normal. There is a break in period for new mattresses and we are 60 days in and it still doesn't quite feel like the in store one. We are going to keep trying it for the recommended time to see if the mattress feel improves. I will say my wife and I are sleeping fine though, we just thought the break in period wouldn't take this long.

We've had this mattress for going on two years, and have hoped that it would get softer and more comfortable in time. It has not, my girlfriend are having back problems and do not get a restful sleep. And it's only gotten worse the longer we use this mattress. I tried to exchange for a softer mattress but the warehouse employee encouraged me not to as the bed would improve over time. It hasn't, and too much time has passed, so now I'm stuck with a mattress with both hate.

Bought another Tempurpedic and I am very happy! Should have never switched from my original. Great nights sleep with NO aching body parts in the am.

Putting aside the long back-story of how I went from bed to bed for years not finding comfort or consistent sleep, Tempur-Pedic has saved my life! By far the best purchase I have ever made. When I get into the ProAdapt mattress, my focus becomes SLEEP. It is an amazingly advanced mattress in terms of quality, support, and still provides a plush, cloud-like feeling as if you're slowly sinking into the bed, long after you've already laid down. I am getting full nights sleep EVERY night now, am having no issues whatsoever with the product or their wonderful support team, and encourage anyone who is looking to buy a new bed to truly consider making it a TEMPUR-PEDIC purchase! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This mattress is growing on me. The first night, I woke up with a hip ache from sleeping on my side. We've had this king size mattress for about a month now, and it's getting more comfortable as time passes and we break it in. I prefer a plush-type mattress and this is what me and my partner settled on for the both of us. I have sleep issues such as insomnia, tossing and turning, waking up frequently, back problems, etc. I can't say that this mattress has improved any of the issues I have that much. My back does feel a bit better compared to my last mattress. The mattress is comfortable when you are laying down. My partner really likes it, but he doesn't really have any sleep issues. Honestly, I'm not as impressed as I thought I'd be with all the hype that Tempur-Pedic mattresses get. But I do think this is probably a great fit for some people out there. Just not sure if I'm that person since it's only been a month of sleeping on it. All in all, I do think I would recommend this to the right person. It is a nice mattress. But like I said, just not sure if it's for me, yet.
