I have gone through 4 mattresses in 4 years. They were either poorly built, too soft or too firm causing back aches or sore presser points. I have both hips replaced and one knee. I purchased the Tempur-ProAdapt Medium Hybrid about 7 weeks ago. This mattress is awesome! It is supportive without being hard. You feel yourself being cuddled without sinking into it. It is easy to move around in. I normally sleep hot but with their cooling technology I'm cool and comfortable all night. It used to take me quite a while to fall asleep, Not now, I fall asleep right away. I used to toss and turn through the night, now I can fall asleep and stay asleep for the entire night waking up in the same position. I'm both a side and back sleeper and this mattress is great in either position. I can't say enough about this mattress. It cost more than my other mattresses but it is well worth it. I just wish I had gotten it sooner. I look forward to going to bed and sometimes go to bed early because it is so comfortable. I have the adjustable frame which makes it even more awesome. My husband and I were both experiencing back problems from our over 10 year old pillow top. We decided to try Tempur-pedic because we had slept on one while visiting friends and really liked the comfort. From the very first night on our new mattress, our back aches were relieved. My husband is a big man and I am a small petite woman and it adjust to both of us like it was custom-made for us. We both highly recommend the Tempur-pedic.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Due to an illness I needed a softer mattress and an adjustable bed frame. I have had a Tempur-Pedic mattress in the past and always liked the support it gave me. I do love the Pro-Adapt Soft mattress. It was the first time I was able to sink into my bed and feel comfortable since becoming ill. The only thing I don't like about this mattress is that it becomes hot where you lay. I am constantly moving all over the mattress to find a cooler spot all night. If the heat from the mattress wasn't an issue then I would have given a five star rating. More work needs to be done to refine the body heat this mattress holds in.

Normally, I'm a back sleeper and my old bed gave me problems over the last year. My wife suggested that we invest in other bed because she notice the lack of sleep and back problem I have been suffering over the last year. We did our research over the last couple months and came to conclusion that the TEMPUR-ProAdapt Medium Hybrid was the bed for us. I have been resting much better and my back problem are resolving itself. I'm a big man and would recommend for the guys like me.

My wife and I had our last Tempur-Pedic mattress for about 20 years, so we were concerned at the change. We went with the Pro-Adapt Firm because it reminded us the most of our previous mattress and are so glad we did. Something about the combination of firmness + the slight give of the Tempur-Pedic material makes for an amazing comfort. We have not had an uncomfortable night's sleep since we got it almost a month ago.

This is my second tempur-pedic mattress. I have to be honest and say I hated this new mattress the first couple of weeks of use. It was nothing like my previous mattress but I held strong and now, after 90 days and finding the right pillow loft, I am sleeping like a baby.

For the past 25 years I have only had the pleasure of sleeping on hand-me-down mattresses that probably should have just gone to the trash. I would constantly wake up with back pain, toss and turn throughout the night, and just could not get a good nights sleep. My wife and I were reluctant to get a new mattress. The cost to us was shocking. We did not feel comfortable spending the amount but we knew we needed one. Well, we are glad we did. Since the first night we haven't had a bad nights sleep. We are so glad we chose this model and were also happy that the "soft" feel was still firm enough for the both of us. My back pain has since disappeared and each night I'm glad to get a good nights sleep. If you have any doubts, put them to rest. This mattress is worth the price and you'll have a better nights sleep because of it.

I must say that I was worried at spending this much money on a mattress (only because what would really happened if I didn't like!), but went a head and purchased it. It is the most comfortable mattress I have ever been on. No adjustment needed on my part, fall asleep right away and sleep soundly thru out the night. I will never again think twice about getting a Tempur-Pedic again!

After a mattress we had for 2 years and another we tested out for a couple months my pain has gone away with my Tempur pedic mattress almost instantly. I was having restless nights and now sleep like a baby. I am so happy with my purchase! Also bought the pillows and my husband and I love them as well.

I am writing this review because my Tempurpedic mattress has changed my life. I have suffered from insomnia most of my life and I have had difficulty falling asleep. This all changed in a few days on my new mattress and split adjustable base. I'm not only sleeping throughout the night, but I wake up feeling refreshed and ready to take on the day. Thank you to Susan who was extremely patient showing us different mattresses's and also the adjustable base. Its rare to have someone spend that much quality time with my wife and I reviewing the different mattress's. Thank you Susan and thank you Tempurpedic.
