an okay tire

These tires come highly recomended by the dealer but i find in water my Suv wants to hydroplane. i have had two sets of this type of tires. They wear, seem to drive decent in snow but just not great in the rain.

Thank you for your feedback. We're sorry to hear that you've experienced this issue with your CrossClimate 2 tires. Hydroplaning can be influenced by several factors, including tread depth, tire inflation, vehicle condition, and road conditions. We recommend visiting your local authorized Michelin retailer for an inspection. If you have additional questions, please contact Michelin Consumer Care at 866-866-6605 (Mon-Fri 8 AM-7 PM EST, Sat 9 AM-1 PM EST).

Excellent tires for the outback

The driving difference between the OEM tires and the Crossclimate is night and day. The handling, ride and noise have vastly improved. I couldn't be happier with my purchase.

New Tires for my daughter SUV

I wanted tires for my daughter car to be safe while driving in Canada in all weather conditions, (right now is raining a lot) These tires gave me that peace of mind. Also the SUV feels like new with these her new "shoes"

Verified Purchase

Great four season tire.

Wanted something that was four season capable as we sometimes encounter light snow and these tires come highly rated. The tread looks very aggressive but I was surprised at how quiet they are. Dry traction is excellent, the car rides smoother and steers as good as when new and absorbs bumps better than the tires we had on before. Haven't driven in heavy rain yet but I expect the tread pattern with channel water away excellently.

Great in snow

New tires and over 10 hours of hard packed icy roads no problems. Left Vegas with clear roads and by area 51 hit heavy wind blown snow. Many cars off the road on the way to Reno. We never slipped once. Top speed 45. Out of Reno more wind blown snow and icy roads eventually got a motel for the night. Next day icy roads again to Oregon . Still no issues. We were driving an all wheel drive Honda crv which helped, but the tires were amazing. Highly recommend for all season tires.

Excellent tires

I put a set on my ford escape and have driven nearly 70,000 miles on them so far. They still have decent tread on them and perform very well. I have noticed that they get a little louder after about 60,000 miles. But most tires don't even make it that far. I recently bought another set for our Santa Fe.

Great ride with these tires

I purchased these ties on reviews. Some reviews stated that their Auto lost gas mileage. We own a 2020 Cadillac XT-5, V-6 310 HP, AWD. Before on the original tires we where getting 19.7 to 20.3 MPH. Highway mileage was the most 24.5. With these new CrossClimate2, the gas mileage increased to almost 23 MPG in the city and not quite 27 Highway. Only 1 time we received 34 MPG when we used the cruse control. The tire are quite, smooth riding and you do not hear any noise and good stopping in rain. Yes, I would recommend to a friend.

Great tires, but noticeable MPG drop

I put these tires on my 2023 Honda Pilot, and overall they've been impressive. Their all‑weather capability is excellent, and they've been especially strong in snow—confident traction, stable handling, and exactly the kind of winter performance I was hoping for. Road noise is also pleasantly low, even at highway speeds, which makes daily driving more comfortable. The one drawback has been fuel economy. I'm seeing about a 5‑MPG drop compared to my previous tires, which is a pretty significant difference. I'm hoping mileage improves once the weather warms up, but for now it's definitely the trade‑off. Despite the hit to fuel efficiency, I'm happy with how these tires perform overall. If winter traction and quiet ride quality are your priorities, they deliver—just be prepared for a good noticeable dip in mileage.

Amazing tires

40,000 miles in and only down to 7/32 from the 10/32 new. These are great in all weather and is impressive in snow. I'm talking about up hill on a side of a mountain pushing snow with your bumper good. I recommend these to everyone and they are going on everything that we have. I didn't notice any extra noise from the stock all seasons. We have sold all our snow tires and rims.

unbiased opinion

I purchased four Cross climate 2 tires 5 months ago. (I have driven on all major brands of tires during my sixty-one years of driving) The Michelin Cross Climate 2 are by far and away the best tire as far as handling, wear, - and for me- snow traction,
