My husband and I are both side sleepers and have broad shoulders so a mattress that supports while letting you sink in enough to keep your spine aligned is difficult. After trying lots of lesser memory foam beds we finally shelled out the cash for a Tempur Pedic. Totally worth it. We are sleeping so much better and our bodies feel great. The soft is very soft but still feels supportive, even for my husband who is 6'4/240lbs. I'm 5'6/140lbs and it's perfect for me, too. Doesn't sleep as warm as other memory foam. Cover is very nice. The only thing my husband doesn't like is that the edge is soft and he can't sit on it to put on his socks. I don't have that trouble.

Having slept on a coil mattress my entire life, I was very hesitant to move over to a foam bed, but I'm glad I did! I knew our mattress was past it's prime (20 years old), but I didn't attribute my lower back issues to the mattress. I have a chronic autoimmune illness that also causes constant pain. I've also had osteoarthritis in my back since my early 20s (and I'm now 51), and literally wore out my body between the physical stress of military and competitive kickboxing. I have slept on a Classic tempurpedic for the past 16 years. Sleep difficulties and waking up hurting let me know I needed to replace my mattress, but I've been nervous about doing it. I finally took the plunge and bought the firm LuxeAdapt. It is AMAZING! I am primarily a side sleeper (true side and side/partially on back or stomach). I also sometimes sleep on my back. The mattress fully conforms to the body, but in a supportive way with no excessive pressure anywhere. I have only slept on it a few nights, but have not woken up this relaxed in a really, really, really long time. I am not sure what people are talking about regarding break in time or the mattress being too firm at first. I felt the mattress was absurdly comfortable from the moment it was places on my adjustable base. The only reason I can think of is that they've never slept on a tempurpedic before. I am beyond ecstatic with this mattress!

Admittedly, my wife and I were somewhat hesitant to buy a mattress online without trying it out first. The more reviews we read, the more convinced we were that the Tempur-Pedic was exactly what were looking for. We are happy to share that the Tempur-Pedic has exceeded our expectations. We no longer wake up tired. It is so refreshing when first going to bed and sleeping the night through is the rule, as opposed to the exception. Our only regret is that we didn't buy a Tempur-Pedic sooner.

For several years I have been experiencing severe back pain along the ribs when I tried to fall asleep on my old mattress. I wanted a firm mattress and the mattress was firm when delivered. But after sleeping on it for a few weeks, it softened up and feels like a medium-soft mattress now, nowhere near firm. However it offers a good solid night sleep. It's not easy to move around since it's a foam mattress. Beware when sitting on the side with your legs hanging down to the floor, these mattresses have no support at all on the sides. That's why I give it a so..so rating. There are better firm mattresses out there.

I absolutely love this bed!! I have never slept on anything so comfortable. On our old bed, I would wake up multiple times per night and was always tired. Now, I wake up once or not at all. It has made a wonderful difference in my mood and how I function during the day. I definitely am so grateful that we made this choice!

I have an autoimmune disease that makes getting out of bed a real chore. Our bed was too soft so we "upgraded" to this one. In the showroom it felt nice, for the few minutes we tried it. Once it was delivered we quickly realized it's way too firm. Of course the store we bought it at told us we had a 180 night sleep trial, well the paperwork said otherwise and they did not honor it. We are now stuck with a terribly expensive uncomfortable bed.
