Love it
My pregnant daughter wanted a more comfortable mattress for her bed and since we had a small budget, I decided to try this out. Boy oh boy, I'm so glad I did. It was more than I expected for the price. It is so comfortable and not only is she happy with it, I've recommended it to others and am going to purchase a king size for myself.
Love this bed!
We have there more plush 13 inch version on our bed at home. But this skinnier version for our camper and was like music to my body when laying down on it compared to the bed that came with the camper. Immediately comfortable and immediately great night sleep. Love these mattresses!
Thank you for your review, we are happy to hear that the mattress is working out well for you!
Great foam mattress at an excellent price
After shopping around buying another mattress and returning it finding this one at SAMs was great. The mattress was bought for my 6 year old daughter and me and my wife just wish it was a king and we could use it. She sleeps better than us now. My only complaint is they did not have it in stock at our local SAMs we had to order and pay for shipping. Excluding the shipping this is an excellent value. The mattress is very comfortable I have fallen asleep with her reading stories and my wife has to come drag me to our old pillow top.
Completely sold!
I have these mattresses on every bed in my house. When I realized how hard & uncomfortable my young grandsons' bunk bed mattresses at home were, I bought 2 of these for their twin beds. They LOVE them and sleep better (which has also reduced middle-of-the-night trips to their parents' bed)!" These mattresses are the same construction and quality as another well-known, highly advertised, extremely expensive brand, but at a fraction of the price. Why anyone would buy the other brand, or a "regular" coil spring mattress, when they could sleep on these at such a great price is beyond comprehension. And so simple. A few clicks online and a few days later it shows up at your door. All you have to do is move it to the bedroom, open the box, and unroll it! Any "smell" dissipates within a few hours. I also bought one of these mattresses for my adult son, and will buy one for my daughter and son-in-law soon. I'm completely sold on them!
Not bad
Originally wanted this bed for my 5th wheel.. Leaving my old queen matress behind and moving I decided to buy it for my new house. Its not as firm as a tempurpedic. I have fond memories of them from hotels..and the feeling of waking up like I never went out the night before. This isn't quite that but compared to a regular matress its very comfortable - instantly. Tempurpedic are sometimes brick hard at first then slowly soften up and cradle you. for $1000+ savings, really is there any room to complain? It does "smell" for a few days to a week but anything urethane/rubber/plastic will. the 8" is fine for men - we dont care if sheets dont fit right. however if you want sheets to "fit" height wise, women will definately want the 10-12" stack for sure. From everything I've read though the comfort factor will not matter regardless what height you pick, its the same. I'd buy another for sure and this one will probably make it's way back to the RV.
Best Value you will find for the money!
I read many reviews about this before I bought it. I was going through a hard time last year and my teenage daughter was in need of a new mattress. We are so please with this purchase. I read a lot of people who said it would be a great guest bedroom/part time use, but not for full time use. Well let me tell you that's wrong, She uses it everyday and there have been no problems. My wife loves it too and fall asleep on it all the time. We have had it about six months now and it you are thinking about getting you will not be sorry!
Great Value
Great value relative to the name brands. The mattress did have a slight odor initially, but it dissipated after a week. Also takes a little while for the mattress to soften up. The mattress is for our guest room, and my Mother, who has the name brand memory foam mattress at home, just slept on it for a week. She found it equally comfortable as the expensive mattress. Very happy with the purchase.
Coughed for two days
I am looking for a decently priced firm yet supportive mattress so I purchased the 8" Night Therapy memory foam mattress from sams. The mattress arrived in several days and I opened it and let it 'inflate'. I slept on it and the off gassing was so severe that I coughed for two days, my sinuses were congested and felt really sick. The odor filled the entire first floor of my house. If you are in any way sensitive to odors DO NOT BUY this mattress. Perhaps if they let this mattress off gas for a year then maybe, MAYBE I could sleep on it. wow. Thanks for Sams return policy I returned it and purchased an innerspring mattress at the local club.
Glad I Bought It!
I was a little worried about this purchase because I was purchasing it for a daybed whose dimensions were half an inch narrower and half an inch shorter than the dimensions of this mattress. I called the manufacturer and they told me that the mattress has a bit of give in the foam and that it would work. It worked perfectly. It took this mattress about three days to reach full height. I also bought the regular size mattress for the trundle, and that one seemed to expand to full size in about a day, so I'm not sure why this one was different. Maybe it's compacted more--it's bigger yet arrives in the same size box as the regular twin. Anyway, the mattress is super comfortable. Oh, I also asked the manufacturer if it has to sit on a solid surface (like a full board) because my daybed has slats. They told me the slats would be enough support--my bed has 15 slats with a couple inches between each one. The odor from the bed is pretty strong but not horribly unpleasant. It took about 4 days to dissipate to the point where I wanted to put sheets on it. My teenaged daughter has slept on it a couple of nights and says it's comfy.
Too firm
I was happy to see all the great reviews of this mattress. However, I was (am) disappointed in it. It is way too firm for me. Even my children, who are not that picky, thought it was too firm. Now I will have to look into buying a softer memory foam topper to go on top of it. I should have just bought the cheap $100 regular twin mattress from the Sam's store and purchased a memory foam topper for it and saved about $80.
