Very comfortable mattress!
We bought one for each of our girls, who are in high school and college. We have a TempurPedic we love. The girls wanted a matttress like ours. This mattress is very comfortable! We have only had them a month, so we can't tell you how well they will last. However we are extremely pleased with the comfort. Our standard twin sheets fit on them. Both girls love them.
tough to beat
After reading all the positive reviews we decided to buy 2 for a bunk bed set. Our 2.5 year old has been sleeping on one for the last couple weeks and he loves it. Prior to sleeping on this mattress he was up at least once a night and now he sleep right through the night. I read some comments about the smell when the mattress gets unpackaged but I didn't think it was an issue at all. Very good quality and value that is tough to beat--I wish they were available in store and not just on line.
Thank you for your review!
Great Value!
After comparison shopping for a bed for a bad back, we found a suggestion for this brand. We ordered a 13" king and decided to get these for the kids. This is an 8" queen for our son. Much better value for a bad back than the major manufacturers with the high ticket price! Only drawback, the mattress needs to air out for a few days before use, as the mattress has a distinct smell. But once it is aired out, you would never know.
Best Gift I Ever Gave
Last year I purchased this product for my 10 year old granddaughter who complained of an aching back. This year I purchased three more for the other siblings for Christmas. My grandson was so excited he couldn't wait to get into bed. The best part about it is I get to sleep on the extra one when I visit! I can't wait to get into bed as well. Needless to say we all love this product.
3 Tempur Pedics, 2 Serta ISeries, Latex...
Having tried some very expensive mattresses over the past few years, we have finally found a comfortable nights sleep. A (king) $200. mattress paired with the 2.5 Aerus 5 lb density topper is a little slice of heaven! We have owned the mattress for 6 months and it is awesome. We bought a second mattress and topper for our camper. Having spent thousands on Tempurpedic, which other family members now have, we wish we would have discovered this first. We are in our 50's with various back, hip and knee issues. Latex was too springy firm, Serta developed dips and hurt our hips, Tempurpedic was "wet sand" that you could not role out of...This combination of mattress and Aerus 5 lb topper works great!
Quality made, good value, prompt delivery
The twin size mattress arrived promptly in a large box. It is made in China. The shipment was lighter and the box considerably smaller than if the mattress had been an inner spring with steel coils and frame. The mattress was partially compressed in a tight roll in a sealed poly vacuum bag with much of the air removed from the foam. Then the roll was further packed in a sturdy cylindrical white plastic outer bag with a draw cord tie, before being slid into the box for shipment. Unpacking was the reverse, following the step-by-step picture instructions. As soon as the mattress was rolled out flat and the inner poly bag was opened, air began to rush in and fill the foam, expanding the mattress. I ordered the 8" thickness and the fully expanded mattress was almost 8 1/2" thick. This took about 48 hours, per the instructions. The result was a medium-to-firm mattress with the top layer of "memory" foam conforming to the body. After unpacking, there was an odor from the foam that I would describe as like latex-based paint. Although people vary in their reactions to odors, I would judge the odor to be rather mild, certainly not as intense as painting a bedroom with latex. Allowing the mattress to air for the prescribed 48-72 hours dissipated the odor to the point that I found it unnoticeable. One thing I didn't see in the description on the Sam's Club website (perhaps I missed it): The Night Therapy Memory Foam Mattress is not intended to be used with a foundation, such as a box spring. It is intended for a platform or bunk bed. I am using it on a captain's bunk with a continuous firm plywood surface, which works. Also, the mattress cannot be turned over with each sheet change to even out stress. The top is the top, the bottom is the bottom. The mattress can be rotated with each sheet change, head to foot. All in all, a nice quality-made foam mattress reasonably priced that gives a comfortable night's sleep. I would have given it 5 stars, but would like to see how it performs over time. So far only one night on the new mattress.
Bananas
We ordered two of these mattresses for a Merlot Rake Trundle Bed for my son. I had previously purchased Serta memory foam mattresses for my older son. These Night Therapy mattresses were half the price of the Sertas and much nicer. At first, I thought they weren't full enough or firm enough. But, after a day, they came to full thickness, and we are very pleased with them. You can't go wrong for the price. I sleep on a Temperpedic, and do find that to be of much higher quality, but in the lower end, such as the Serta range, these are very nice. They are very snug in the Merlot Rake beds and sheets are very tight, but they do fit.
Purchased for my 8 yr old daughter
My daughter needed a new mattress and wanted a memory foam because I have one. We looked at all the local mattress stores and I didn't find any that I was pleased with. The cheaper mattresses were either too hard or poor quality and the good mattresses were pushing $1000 which I feel is too high for a twin size. BTW, the cheapest mattress I found in the stores was on sale for $299! So I decided to look on samsclub.com and found this 8' Night Therapy memory foam mattress. It had good reviews and the price was obviously unbeatable. I was a bit hesitant at first since we didn't actually see it in person but I though, what do I have to lose, if we didn't like it we could just return it. So I ordered it. It arrived on time. Came rolled up in a bag. It took a couple of hrs for it to expand to it's full form. It did have a slight odor at first..as memory foams do..but it was gone before bedtime. So from the first time we laid on it, we were both hooked! It is very comfortable..plush but still firm#you don't sink in it like quick sand# It has a very nice, thick quilted zip off cover on it so it is washable if needed. I actually have no complaints. I'm ready to ditch my $1300 memory foam mattress and buy this one in the queen size for myself!
Only one cons
I really like the way they ship in small box so that I can move to it to second floor all by myself. It's been over 3 weeks to use this bed on my platform bed frame bought from Ikea store. It is not smooth as expensive memory foam beds but still soft enough for me. One thing I do not like is it's little bit warmer than my old spring bed.
A great night's sleep
I researched thoroughly before puchasing and chose this one on foam density and price. I already had a 2in memory foam topper that is now on top of this mattress. The only bad thing I have to say is that it is a little too big and since I have a platform bed, it is hard to tuck-in the sheets and blankets.
