Great product at a great price

Members Mark brand rolled oats are equal in quality and much less expensive than the "name-brand" rolled oats. I would like Sam's to also stock the quick cooking variety.

Great product at a lower price.

I have usually buying the 10 pound twin pack of Quaker Rolled Oats. I have recently discovered the Member's Mark version. I place my first order for the MM version (at a substantially lower price) and found that they were exactly as good and fresh tasting as my previous choice from Quaker. Once again, Member's Mark has delivered a high quality alternative.

Oatmeal Cookies

My family has eaten several brands of oatmeal and the members mark is right up there with the name brands. I used my members mark oatmeal to make cookies and overnight oats at home. Both things came out amazing everyone at home loved them. With the overnight oats the consistency of the oats held up very well. I would definitely recommend this product.

Genuinely old fashion and high quality

These oats were truly the old fashion style which means the oat kernels were rolled flat, but not too thin. After fully using the first bag of my first box, I find the product to be high quality and with very few fines. This is different from the Quaker rolled oats that I had been buying from Sam's which are quick cooking which means they are rolled thinner and that process naturally produces more fines. I judge both products to be the same quality only different in style.

Oats and More Oats

Another quality members mark product. First made some oatmeal cookie bars and they turned out great. Kids love them in smoothies as well. Also love having oatmeal with fresh fruit for a healthy breakfast option. It is a very large quantity; a great deal for someone needing a large supply.

The case fo carring old fasion Oats

I went back the other day to purchase some more and you no longer have this (Old Fashion Rolled Oats). All you have is quick oats (Quaker brand) which is NOT used for baking. Quick oat's are also bad for people trying to control their blood sugar as it is NOT carb resistant like rolled oats or steel cut. So it was off to COSCO where they still carry it.

They’re oats…

Ok, full disclosure. I am not a big oatmeal fan & have limited experience other than the sugar laden instant crap we had as kids. However, there are quite a few recipes & recommendations regarding oats in a healthier lifestyle so thought I would at least try them. I believe I now have enough oats to be considered a prepper. I made a simple bowl of oatmeal for breakfast & was satisfied with the results. 1. It is a lot of oats for a single person 2. Get a sealable & pourable container so you’re not fighting the box & bag every time 3. Salt is your friend (& trust me you will need this friend) 4. When all else fails, blueberries & maple syrup save the day 5. Compared to overly sugared & processed oats these have a much more natural and satisfying flavor. All in all I was satisfied with the results.

Good oats!

Good oats! I’ve never bought this much before, or like this, but they’re perfect for the no bake cookies my husband loves! Comes in the big box and 2-10# bags are in the box. One of my bags had a slight split in it, so be careful!

Does not compare to brand name oats

These oats were honestly not good. I did a comparison between these oats and some name brand oats. I cooked the oats for the recommended time on the box and did the same with the name brand. You can see in the pictures I have included that the name brand oats look good and creamy. The Member Mark oats are hard and clumpy. One positive aspect of these oats is that you get more quantity for your money, that's always a good thing. The packaging is also pleasing to the eye. Unfortunately, the product just falls short in this case.
