We love this mattress. After changing 3 different mattresses we finally found the one that we can sleep without waking up in pain. We have the soft tight top. I am really surprised this is the definition of soft, but the mattress feels really comfortable yet very stable.

We purchased the Estate medium firm which we tested in the store. This is our third Sterns and Foster mattress but this new design is awful. As soon as it arrived we called the store thinking, despite the label, they had sent us the firm in error as the bed was very hard. We were told it needed time for the top to release. It’s now been just over a year, it is still very hard and has developed deep body wells and I now have spinal back pain. We rotate this mattress monthly and even rotate a quarter turn sleeping on it cross-wise. We have had an expert inspect it and the result is the wear is “normal” so there is nothing we can do. We are looking for alternatives and will need to donate a near-brand-new mattress to find comfort. We are so disappointed.

This mattress is very comfortable. The problem I have is it is supposed to be to be 16”. I bought sheets for this. They did not fit properly. I have since discovered the bed is actually 14”. I feel cheated because it is not what it was suppose to be. I could understand if it was 1/4” off, but not 2”. Which makes me say don’t trust Stearns and Foster!

My husband severally broke his neck four years ago. After several surgeries, metal plates, brackets and screws he can only sleep flat on his back, all night, every night! And every night he would snore, very loudly. I ended up sleeping in another room. The first night on our new StearnsandFoster bed I was able to sleep the entire night with him. He didn’t snore! The second night his snoring was the quiet breathing I was used to hearing for the 53 years we’ve been married. Thank you for the support we both needed for a good nights sleep.

We purchased this mattress in 2025. We tested the floor model and it seemed like a good fit. BUT within a few weeks of sleeping on it it became lumpy, and still is. We should have returned ii within the allowed time but we thought it needed a breaking in period. With much regret we're stuck with it. We will buy a new mattress soon to replace this one. We won't return to a Stearns and Foster brand.

Fabulous mattress! Soft on top so it really hugs you and a nice firm support underneath. Both my wife & I are sleeping better. We had a 15 year old Temperpedic Cloud Supreme, this mattress feels much nicer than the original one when it was new and it doesn’t sleep “hot” like it as well! We love our new mattress!

I've only had it a week and it feels like it's sunken in quite a bit on the side I sleep on compared to the other side. My other Stearns & Foster was firm for a long time.

I used to wake up stiff and achy, but since we got our new Stearns and Foster Ultra Firm Mattress, it has been a game-changer! I wake up refreshed, with no kinks or pain in my back. We love our new Stearns and Foster Ultra Firm Mattress!! Thank you!

Best mattress I've ever owned. We have back issues and this mattress helps us tremendously. Firm and the pillow top adds an extra layer of comfort. High quality construction. Highly recommend.

WE REPLACED OUR 30 YR OLD SELECT COMFORT KING WITH 2 XL TWINS BY S&F. THEY ARE STURDY AND COMFORTABLE. OUR FIRST NIGHT WAS SUCH A RELAXING SLEEP! THE QUALITY STANDS OUT AND UNRESERVEDLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
