We tried 2 different bed models from a different manufacture and for us, they were so uncomfortable from the first night, and only got worse each night. There was no way we could keep either of these beds and returned them. We decided to move to different bed maker. After reading the reviews for S& F, it sounded too good to be true. We went ahead and ordered Sterns and foster, Lux estate soft pillow top, and we have had unbelievable sleep, since the first night. No "breaking in required." Ordered directly from Stearns and foster online. No hassle, delivery, and received it in less than 2.5 weeks. Great quality and even signed by bed maker. To me, that shows they really care. The only problem now is that it is so comfortable, we don't want to get up. Good problem to have!! We are so happy.

Diagnosed, treated, and chronic.We have used our LuxEstate Pillow Top Firm for 28 days so far.I'm not going to tell you are backs are cured. They never will be. BUT from day one we noticed a difference that only got better as days went by. No other lifestyle changes period. The MOST AMAZING SLEEP SURFACE we have EVER slept on. And we have gone through at least four different mattress "systems" in the past 30+ years. I laid on it on my back the day it was delivered while the sheet set we got as a bonus was being laundered. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Best sleep I've had in ages. I got a firm mattress and love it. This mattress is really firm and holds its shape. Even when sitting on the edge of the bed, the mattress holds its shape and does not crumple like so many other mattresses do.

We purchased a Split King Estate mattress and have experienced almost perfect sleep each and every night. It's really great to wake up in the morning without aches or pains that we have experienced with other mattresses in the past. The level of firm support is truly exceptional.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been dealing with lower back pain and bought a popular new brand mattress to try and help. After 6 months, still lower back pain. In our spare bedroom I had my older S&F Estate Mattress. I decided to test it and slept on this for 2 weeks to see if it would help. NO PAIN. As a result, I returned the new mattress and replaced with the Estate Firm Pillow Top. I'm about a month in and NO PAIN AT ALL. No hip pain, no lower back pain, I finally wake up without being sore. I will never purchase another brand. The quality just can't be matched.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I ordered an extra plush mattress. I was assured what I ordered was very soft. If what I have is soft, the firm must be like sleet on a concrete pad. I sleep and wake up with my joints hurting and I toss and turn all night.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Mattress is much thicker than my old firm Beautyrest mattress. Even though I ordered a soft, it isn't quite as soft as I'd have liked. The memory foam top lets me sink in but, I miss the bounce of the old mattress. But, the proof is in the sleeping and I don't have any of the aches and pains that my old mattress gave me. I do sleep much better on this S and F mattress, no doubt about it. I also like the handles built into this mattress, which my old one didn't have. Important note: this mattress is much thicker than my old and had to replace the old 9" foundation with a thinner 5" one, which I ordered from Stearns and Foster. The old foundation with new mattress had me way off the floor! The new foundation is better than the old one, in any case.
