Recently purchased this gem as a retirement gift for my husband. Item was very well packaged, delivery was extremely fast, set up was a snap. I found the best deals on pods at Bartesian website, a nice option of auto-delivery with most. Wherever we go out - we pick and choose our favorite beverages, so do the same with this wonderful machine. Right now we love the cosmopolitan and margarita pods, we may add an additional splash of lemonade or whatever we have on hand after dispensing. This machine has replaced our traditional bar full of mixers and booze that we didn't use regularly so we are saving money. Honestly, the price of the pods is much cheaper than going out to get a drink these days, so pricey. Plus, as mentioned make the drink the way you like, not the other way around. It's a treat to be able to have your own personal bartender and enjoy a cocktail in the safety of your own home - no drinking and driving here. Couldn't be more pleased with this machine!

After I bought the Bartesian machine from Sam's club I ordered a capsule subscription from Bartesian. In that subscription I got Spicy bloody mary, lemon drop, and apple pie capsules. The subscription can be canceled immediately after purchase. All 3 of these drinks are Vodka based in which I used the Grey Goose brand Vodka. The spicy bloody mary that the machine made was the worst I have ever had in my 58 year old lifetime. Others that dared to drink the same drink agreed with my conclusion. On the flip side the lemon drop and the apple pie capsules tasted sweet, smooth, and had a nice flavor. These 2 drinks I am pleased with. In my opinion the drinks the machine makes are rather small. Dont use too large of drink cup/container or your drink will look odd. I havent had the machine long enough to find the right size to use. When I seen the Bartesian drink mixer at Sams I was hoping it could do a good spicy bloody mary but those hopes are gone.:(

2nd machine, i love it!

Bought this as a father's day gift in 2022. My husband loved the concept and used it sporadically. Then it stopped working. The favor of many of the pods was not great and the finished product had to be tweaked. Since it has stopped working after only bareky a year with minimal use, and no warranty still in place, this is a huge epic fail. All in all not worth it!!!!!

Okay if you love sub-par, too sweet drinks. (And some people do and that’s totally cool.) Look, alcohol is too expensive, and this machine is too expensive, for the drinks to be anything less than amazing. Sure, it’s a fun party trick and fun to use, but I’ve literally dumped each of the five drinks I’ve tried from this machine. It’s not the alcohol because that’s the same brand I always use. The mixers are simply no good. Sorry, Bartesian. I really wanted to love you but instead i will be returning you.

This machine is a game changer and everyone who sees it wants one for themselves.

Drinks are very good and so simple using Bartesian. Not much different than using a K-cup machine.
