It’s ceramic and it’s a flip top so it’s easy to use and easy to clean. It takes no time at all to cook the waffles and the heat is evenly distributed. I love this so much. I highly recommend this.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Dash Flip Belgian Waffle Maker is the easiest thing I have ever used. Very clear instructions, fill your maker flip it and the light tells you when your waffle is done. So tonight we had BFD as we call it "Breakfast for Dinner " and the family came back for seconds. I love how it stands upright to take less space on the counter when not in use. Almost like it is not even there great space saver.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kids favorite meal of the day is breakfast so we were excited to get this Belgian waffle maker. It comes with an easy to read instruction manual although is very user friendly. It does not require assembly and can be used straight out of the box after a quick cleaning. I began by basting on cooking oil and then added the waffle batter. There is a drip tray included that can be placed underneath which was effective and prevented any oil or batter from ending up on the counter. Once the batter is in, you simply close it up and flip it over. It does take a few seconds for the batter to level out so I did need to hold the handle for a bit to prevent it from flipping back. There is no need to set a timer, once the waffle is ready a light on the top of the waffle maker will flick on to let you know it’s ready to remove. The timing was pretty perfect and we didn’t feel the need to keep them cooking for longer. Clean up was easy and it stores nicely either flat or standing upright on its side. I really loved that there was an area for the cord to wrap & be stored and the handle folds back as well to make the overall footprint even smaller for storage. My only wish is that the maker was slightly more heavy duty and that the light on top to notify when the waffle is done was a colored light, as the white light was difficult to see in a brightly lit kitchen. Overall, the waffle maker works great and I see my family using this on a regular basis.

The handle stays cool so you’re not burning yourself when you’re flipping your waffle. The waffles cook to the perfect golden brown and are so fluffy and just delightful.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The first thing we liked was that the waffles come out the perfect size. Not too big or not too small. I also like how I can cut them in 4 parts and save them for my toddler (no waste!). I really like how you can store it vertically and it saves space. I think that was also one of my husband's favorite features. We also liked how you can flip the waffle maker. That's my toddler's favorite part lol Another thing we liked was that there's the non stick dish to catch the dips. I feel that there's going to be less of a mess and I can enjoy making waffles. The only thing we disliked was the cleaning (who doesn't though! lol) But it says not to submerge it on water (obviously) but the first time it's going to be easier to clean. The following times I feel that there's oil stuck and it's harder to remove.

Everything worked smoothly and the waffles came out nice and light brown and not burnt at all. They cooked evenly all the way through. I love this and weekend breakfast has gotten a lot tastier and easier!

We decided to get this new Dash Flip Belgian Waffle Maker and the difference is night and day. Out of the box, the unit is very nice, very compact and easy to use. The flip handle makes it very easy to flip the waffles and cook it evenly. Thanks to the 1000 Watts, we were able to make plenty of waffles in no time and the nonstick coating really makes a difference compared to our old unit. Overall, I am very pleased with our new waffle maker which gets a perfect score from us.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have really enjoyed my new waffle maker. I was used to an old cast iron one, but this is much lighter and easier to operate. It is also much easier to clean, which is definitely a bonus when you are pumping out waffles for the whole family. It seems to heat evenly and has performed better than I had originally expected. I would recommend this to anyone who enjoys a good homemade waffle on occasion.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Not all waffle makers are created equal & this one was clearly made extra special with plates free of PFOA. The non-stick coating is mess free & easy to just wipe clean. I appreciate the sleek design & how it folds upright, without taking up too much space in the kitchen. The plate underneath to catch any mess was a real extra bonus. We actually made chicken and waffles last night with cheddar & Oldboy biscuit mix. It was delicious! I’m so sorry I didn’t take pictures. If you’re on the hunt for nice waffle maker at an affordable price, this one is definitely worth trying out.

We bought this as a quickie replacement to our far more expensive Cuisinart waffle maker, which bit the dust a few weeks ago. We were pleasantly surprised with the quality and especially the way it made the waffles. Taste Belgian by being puffy if that makes sense. Very pleased, especially given the price point .
