Flip Design is a Must
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We make waffles pretty regularly as the kids love eating them up. I love that this waffle maker has the flip design as this helps the batter cover the whole cooking surface and turns out much better looking and more evenly cooked waffles. Plan on trial and error for your first couple batches to learn what is your preferred cook time. I use the same setting each week with predictable results.
Easy to use and excellent design
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Belgian Waffle Maker produces wonderful thick waffles, and I am quite pleased with it. We used to have a tiny waffle maker, but this one is far more superior. The waffles taste much better and are perfectly cooked. First, I plug the waffle maker in; it does not have an on/off button, but it does have an indicator light that glows blue when it is at full temperature and white when the waffle is done. Because I prefer a darker waffle, I left mine inside for a bit longer after the light turned on. I really enjoy how simple it is to clean this product; the drip tray that comes with it is extremely useful, and it is dishwasher safe.
Fun kitchen appliance
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This makes great waffles. It’s easy to use and clean. It’s a cute waffle maker and relatively easy to store. You have to use enough batter that it runs out otherwise it’s overcooked on the edges. Other than that, the waffles are good.
Perfect Waffles!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A perfect waffle every time! I really like how this Belgium waffle iron makes such good fluffy waffles. I also really like how easily and neat it stores in an upright position with a way to store the cord as well. My only comment would be that if you're using a batter with stuff in it like berries or chocolate chips, I would recommend putting a little less than the recommended 1 cup of batter per waffle. Very happy with this waffle iron!
Perfect!
Instructions read to brush oil which we had forgotten, but the waffles came off without issue! The batter cooked evenly and well and came off like a dream. Easy to clean - no batter was stuck at all. I was worried when I purchased at the time due to so few reviews, so I had to stop by and let everyone know this is a KEEPER!
Perfect Sunday activity!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 4 year old daughters favorite food is waffles. It is our lazy Sunday routine to have a waffle party with different toppings on a Sunday when we don’t have any real plans. I needed a waffle maker that would be fool proof because I tend to burn almost everything that I bake. This waffle maker has a light that notifies you when your waffle is baked! It’s literally a no guesswork type of thing! You add your batter (I’m still a novice and buy the batter that you just need to add water to, sometimes I get fancy and add milk instead of water and it works too!) and then you flip the waffle machine over and there is a light that lets you know when it is ready! The main thing that I love about this machine so the drip tray. For some reason I can’t figure out the perfect amount of batter to use and I always end up putting too much in. The drip tray catches almost all of the spillage, and it’s the most helpful addition to the waffle maker. I always line the counter with tin foil just in case I fill it way too much and it spills over the drip tray, but more times than not it’s just an added precaution that I didn’t need because the drip tray is a great size. So far the grates to my waffle maker are perfectly clean. I am too scared of getting them dirty, so we don’t add toppings to the waffle batter, instead we add it on top of the waffle once it is done. We realized that if you use the small chocolate chips and put them on top of the waffle as soon as it comes out, they will even melt in top so it is just as good as if they were melted inside! My kids love to add an assortment of toppings. Some fun combos that they did when I was in a good mood and let them experiment was a plain waffle with Nutella, rainbow sprinkles, blueberries, strawberries, banana and a huge dollop of whipped cream on top. They are obsessed with the waffle machine, and love experimenting with different combos to ‘out do’ each other waffles. Lastly I love how to can store it vertically. I hate when things are on top of each other on my shelves, I feel like everything is always falling over and it just looks messy. I love that the handle folds in and it stores on the base so I don’t need to stack it on top of anything.
Awesome waffle maker
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This waffle maker is everything,it makes the most perfect waffles everytime, it is such quick and easy cleanup. This machine stores up so small and compact which I love so much. I think it looks so nice with my countertop decor. I fully recommend this waffle maker, it is so much fun to use, and you will get the perfect waffle everytime!
Amazing
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I made my first batch of waffles from scratch yesterday and I am in LOVE! My family is in love. My son enjoys pancakes very much so I wanted him to eat waffles. He inhaled them. This waffle maker is so easy to use, lightweight and easy to clean. The easy storage of just turning the waffle iron also saves a lot of space. While cooking all you have to do is pay attention to the light and if you wanted to check on your waffle all you’d have to do is open it up to see. We like ours on the crispy side so we left for a little longer. I really loved this. So much!
So good!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have been loving this Belgian waffle maker! It is really easy to use and the waffles are always tasty! There are a few recipes in the instruction booklet and very easy to make. The waffle maker is easy to use- pour the waffle mix in close lid and flip. There are two indicator lights to let you know when it’s done. Once the cooking completes light illuminates the waffle is ready. Just flip and open. It’s nonstick so the waffle comes out very easy. There is an overspill Plate if needed. Cleanup is very easy. I love that it can stand up to be stored to take up less room. We love making these waffles for our family!
Not much harder than Toasting Frozen Waffles!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Who isn’t part of the pop-frozen-waffles-in-the-toaster-and-run-to-the-schoolbus Tribe? My family have been avid frozen waffle connoisseur since what feels like was the dawn of man. Finally, I felt the creative urge to make actual waffles with perhaps more nutritional substance than my frozen freezer friends could provide. I decided on the Dash Flip Waffle maker initially because of its unique ability to be stored sideways which provide such a small counter space footprint, I didn’t end up having to sacrifice any of my other appliances to keep it there! Initially, the warmup of the waffle maker was surprisingly quick, and, with its rather easily intuitive light sequence, I made my first in less than 5 mins. It just warms up - you see a light, you pour batter and flip, then see another light. BAM. Happy Kids. I really thought it would take a few practice runs to get the hang of it but I just ended up using the recipe book and had no weird, or poorly cooked waffles at all. They also slid right off, didn’t create a mess at all (I originally put a paper towel underneath because I feared my own capabilities:) Easy clean and awesome side profile storing, I couldn’t be happier with this little yummy maker!
