[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The first thing I have to acknowledge is how incredibly thin this soundbar is. After reading the description I knew it would be thin but I still am in awe at how slim it truly is. It fits perfectly in front of my slim TV and doesn't block off any of the picture like normal, thick soundbars would. Now onto the sound. I am still amazed at how such great sound can come out of such a thin soundbar. Dialog is crystal clear, base is incredible with the help of the decently small subwoofer, and background noise blends in well. I'm usually against using settings that auto adjust based on what's being played, but the adaptive sound setting seems to work really well at controlling Dialog and background noise levels depending on what's being watched. Music sounds great also when streaming from my phone. No cut-outs and everything sounds crystal clear. I can't put into words how thin this soundbar is and how crazy it is that it sounds as good as it does with how small it is. I never thought to ever try a Samsung soundbar, but am extremely happy I did.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So, I decided to purchase this soundbar to replace an old soundbar that was at least 10 years old. The Samsung S800D is the model that I chose because I felt that it was a more advanced model and figured I should upgrade to the best one. What caught my eye is the slim design and how nice it looks. It has features such as wireless connection, Bluetooth connection, and HDMI connection. So, for Bluetooth, it does not have a delay in connection with my Samsung TV, which was nice coming right out of the box. I also decided to connect it via Wi-Fi, and it worked very well. I knocked it down a star because I noticed that in comparison to both Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, I decided to connect it directly via HDMI, and ultimately, the sound was far better than Wireless The base sound was very rich via Bluetooth and drowned the Voice in comparison with HDMI connectivity. That is why I knocked it down a star. Overall, I would recommend this soundbar if you want a richer sound since it is a better experience when watching shows or movies. The price point is a bit high and might sway a person to purchase different brands in comparison to this one.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I first unboxed the HW-S800D 3.1.2ch Soundbar with Wireless Dolby Atmos, I honestly wasn't expecting to be blown away. Firsy Impressions: The soundbar itself was thin and sleek and weightless. Coming from a sound system that had me bogged with wires and multiple speakers I was positive the Samsung soundbar wouldn't deliver half of what I wad used to. Boy was I wrong. The sounbar itself delivered sound quality better than theaters and the subwoofer that pairs with it offered a ground shaking, blow your mind effect that had my jaw unhinged. How could something so small offer such amazing clarity and sound. It took watching shows and movies to a whole new level. Sound: 10 out of 10 superb! Bass: ground breaking. Literally. I live the deep bass tones I got from the subwoofer. The best sound quality in any piece of equipment I've ever had. Setup: this is where things got tricky. I followed the instructions to the tee because that's the kind of person I am. However once it said to pair up with the smart things app it left me hanging from there to figure out how to pair the soundbar to my TV. Personally I am a tech freak and was able to navigate till I found what I needed to pair the two. However it was nowhere near as basic and simple as I was expecting it to be and those who are not entirely tech or audio savvy may find themselves frustrated. Extras: Other neat features were that rhe soundbar can easily pair with Alexa so I could play songs through alexa on it with a sound and bass I had never heard before. Honestly the speaker paired with alexa easier than it did with my Samsung 2024 Frame TV. Overall: personally I love it. The HW-S800D 3.1.2ch Soundbar with Wireless Dolby Atmos delivered a higher quality set than I was even expecting. Sound quality is pin drop stunning, and your ears will be picking up on things you'd never heard before. The subwoofer is phenomenal and once you figure out how to navigate through the settings you'll have a fantastic time figuring out what works best for your room and fine tuning the sound to your liking. I didn't set my soundbar up in the conventional way because I hate wires and this soundbar has them. With my Samsung Frame TV I simply hid the bar underneath the table in which my TV sits allowing it to be almost invisible and wire free. Recommended- absolutley. Even with the small hiccups i had setting and pairing the soundbar up to my TV it was well worth it.
