I bought this to keep as a crib to keep for visitors. With the small 2 inch mattress that comes with it, it can fold and be stored easily in a closet. I did buy a firmer 3 inch mattress to add on top of the other because the included mattress was too soft. Now I have a 5 inch mattress. Had a little difficulty putting together. Make sure of your 'front' 'back' 'side' before you screw anything together.

Perfect for new addition

I love this crib. It looks cuter without the wheels on. I have another toddler still in her crib so I didn’t want to buy another full size crib as I wasn’t sure how much longer she will need hers. However, I’m so excited about the quality and size of the crib. I would say it’s big enough at least for the first year. Plus it is able to fit thru a doorway without taking apart so I can move it as needed. One of my kids will need to share a room with it eventually and this leaves lots of space. The mattress was included and though it is thinner it seems just fine for a baby. Wait to buy another until you see for yourself. Also some other reviews said there is only one height setting, but there is definitely two:) My husband put together without my help in 20 minutes and carried it by himself up a normal stairway. Don’t worry I offered several times to help, but I wasn’t needed.

Exactly what I was looking for.

This portable crib is just what I needed. I bought it for my daycare, it meets the safety requirements and is labeled as JPMA certified. The mattress is thin, but this is the current "safe sleep" practice. My husband and I put it together in about 15 minutes.

Good when kids visit with newborns

This crib is ideal for grandparents when kids visit with new babies. It takes a while (best part of an hour) to figure out the instructions but once it is together you don't have to bother with it again. It comes with a water resistant foam pad about an inch thick which if used with a blanket or sheet is fine for an infant. Older children would need a more substantial mattress. After company leaves it folds flat and can be slipped under a bed or stored in the attic. Overall quality is good. I think the white looks better than the natural finish. I am not certain this crib would work well for kids older than about 18 months or that weigh more than 30 pounds. If it only gets occasional use it should last a while and be easy to get rid of in a yard sale.

Nice Narrow Crib

We have a small house and just had our 4th kid last year. We'd run out of room in our house, as we only have 3 bedrooms, so we decided to put the new baby in our walk-in closet until our 4th bedroom addition is finished. Problem was: there were no cribs that would fit! So I measured the closet, checked this crib's measurements online, and so I bought it, put it together by myself, and voila! The crib fits great, the slider closet doors shut perfectly, and we will continue to use it until baby gets too long for it. Baby is almost a year old now and he still fts! I love that this can fold flat if we ever have to bring the crib to Grandma's house when they have sleepovers -- no need for the uncomfortable playpen when he can just take his bed! I was hesitant to but it at first because I'd never heard of a mini-crib before. But I'm glad I got it. This crib fits perfectly and seems very convinient if you need to travel, and is very convenient to have in smaller spaces.

MINI crib

The mini crib is what I hoped for. The cherry color is very pretty. Mine had no flaws. A hairdryer can heat the glue on the sticker on the top rail, it is a dumb place to put it , but its a warning label , so.... I see a lot of hype over the thin mattress. Really, its not THAT thin...on the real- a baby doesn't need a 3 "memory foam mattress...seriously... I suppose i might get a bumper pad. For now, I like being able to see my 6 month old through the slats. I agree about the instructions being a bit whack. I had to stop and really consider the position i needed to lay the headboard and 1st side rail. Be cautious when putting the board in, the metal bolts could scratch the wood while you situate them into their holes. I like that the bed can lay at 2 different levels. I like this better than a playpen because its up off the ground, i don't have to bend over as much (I'm 5'7"), it rolls nicely on my hardwood floors, and its pretty. I can roll it right up to my bed or near the sitting area in my bedroom, or even into another room in the house. The bed is plenty narrow to roll through the doorway without touching the frame. If I have any complaints I will come back to this post and let it be known. I paid $99, it arrived early, and in perfect condition. There were a few knicks on the box, but no damage on the bed. That's fedex for ya...I'm trying to be really detailed about this description bc I really considered ever other post to make my decision on this purchase. the main thing i concerned myself about was the alleged crappy pad, but I'm telling you- it's nothing... baby don't need anything other- its strictly being extra. I hope this helps! Oh yea... I like how it folds up...it's a nice feature if traveling or storing. Ok, bye!

Good crib for Grandma's house!

Nice appearance and seems solid. Like that it rolls easily though doorways. Ordered the 3 in. pad to complement this and it is a definite necessity. Directions are a little vague, more detailed instructions would be helpful. Hope that it holds up well and is useful for several grand babies:)

Great mini crib! *inspect wood bars before using*

Great little crib, we used this as a transitional crib for our 5 month old son who outgrew his bassinet but is not ready to sleep in his nursery. Dimensions were as described and I was able to put it together by myself although it is probably much easier with two people. The "mattress" that comes with it it's super thin, more like a piece of low density foam so we replaced it with a Dream On Me 3inch mini crib mattress and it's perfect, we used bedsheets for mini cribs or pack and play. I took a star out because one of the bars was chipped, so make sure you inspection before using.

Not great but does its job

I would rate this at a 2.5. Relatively easy to assemble and stores easily and compactly. Has a terrible paint smell so I aired it a few days before use- there's still a faint smell to it. The paint chips very easily- so beware, especially if your little one will chomp on it. And lastly, I wouldn't call it a "mattress". It's very similar to a pack-n-play mat but it squeaks. So every time, baby moves, the noise woke him up. For that reason alone, I would need to buy a separate mattress. Overall, I think it's poor quality but it would be fine depending on your needs.
