Bought this as well as a 14oz Keurig Stainless Steel Travel Mug a few weeks ago. I am thrilled I can brew a cup of coffee directly into the Travel Mug by removing the base and best of all I have a mug of hot/very warm coffee for hours. I drink a little, do some work, etc. etc. and still have very warm coffee hours later!

Tap water is hotter

I chose this machine for the ability to heat water for dry soup. Also, I occasionally drink a cup of coffee. First time after I set it up for brewing, my coffee was weak and lukewarm even after selecting strong brew. I wouldn't trust it for anything.

excellent for the lone coffee drinker

I am the only coffee drinker in the house and I only drink one or two cups per day. I prefer not to have a reservoir of standing water since it would take several days to drain. up sides: 1. the water is always fresh (the water does not stand for several days). 2. it is a very small foot print. 3. I got the red and it is beautiful. down side: it is a little noisy when it draws the water in.

Do NOT buy this coffee maker! Here's why.

I've had Keurig coffee makers forever and been pleased UNTIL NOW. This K-Mini Plus is defective, horrible, and a waste of money and time. The first one I received made a loud cranking sound when the arm was pressed down and then took 2-3 times to make a single cup of coffee because I had to reset it, wasting a lot of pods and my time. I called Keurig because there was a note requesting the purchaser do that before returning the item. BIG CLUE- they know there's a problem. But they did ship me a new one that seemed to work better until the same loud sound began to happen and now it takes me three efforts to make a cup of coffee. I called Keurig AGAIN, and this time was shamed by a snippy rep who insisted my brand new model needed to be descaled. Okay, tried that and I got a cup of coffee, but the next day I had to try 3 times before I got one. I could brew a pot of coffee for 8 people on my stove faster! I am done with Keurig. I wanted a model that had the option for strong coffee and what I bought was months of frustration for an overpriced clearly defective model (not just mine) and sass from a Keurig rep. Coffee should be easier than this folks! Oh, and when it does finally work, it still takes a long time to brew one lousy cup of coffee. Spare yourself the frustration and buy something else.

Replacement Mini

I had a couple of conversations with Keurig as my unit had stopped working. I have several of these including one at work and the mini unit which is my personal coffee maker. It took me a couple of conversations but I got to the right people and it had stopped turning on just after the warranty expired. They were able to help me out and two days later I had a new unit in my home.

I bought this mini keurig to use in our RV. We went camping, I excitedly went to use my mini keurig - it did not work!! I contacted the keurig company and the product was so graciously replaced!! We wnet camping again. I excitedly plugged in the newest mini keurig - it did not work!! What is up with this produce?!?! Product is a great size love the color!! Do I throw it in the trash can???

Enjoying my newest Kurig, especially the ability to brew a stronger cup of coffee. Also purchased a K-coffee mug. My suggestion is to have the logo on both sides, especially for those who are left-handed, recognizing this will likely increase the cost of the mugs.
