I am not a “brand slave”. By that I mean I don’t hold allegiance to Folgers or any specific brand. I always figured if I’m going to put cream and sugar in my coffee it doesn’t need to be “top shelf” stuff. But sometimes I drink my coffee black and when I do you can tell you’re drinking economy store brand. That was not the case here, I’ll put this Members Mark coffee up against any name brand out there.

I've been a Folgers user for many years, but I'm also an instant savings shopper, so I decided to give the MM coffee a try because of the discount and in spite of the mixed reviews. Just opened my first can -- and the first positive I noticed was the difference in the vacuum seal compared to Folgers. Brewed up a small pot and was pleasantly surprised by the taste. At $6.97 a can with instant savings, this is decent coffee at a great price IMHO. I'm ordering 3 more cans today. (Just a little more perspective -- my mom, who's not much of a coffee drinker, told me the cup of Folgers I poured for her tasted like old tobacco -- she just tried the MM Colombian and said it did too, but not as strong, so the two are very similar.)

Outstanding flavor, especially for the price. It tastes quite a bit like the Colombian ground coffee made by the company whose name begins with the letter F. All of my friends liked it. I also liked it, even though I usually like a darker roast. No complaints.

Have been an avid Member's Mark coffee drinker for many years. Last few bags I've bought have definitely deteriorated in quality. Don't know if its a new supplier or what the deal is but its bad enough I will be looking for an alternative. Too bad. This was always my go to.

We have bought Members Mark Coffee before for our employees and have not had an issue. Last month we purchased 2 canisters in the same transaction. Neither can were good. After opening & brewing the from the first can everyone was having the same reaction that it didn't taste right. So we tried from the second can and it was the same. We probably will not purchase again, just in case. I would have rated this batch as poor, but since we didn't have issues in the past I gave a fair rating in case this was an isolated event.

After opening the can, I stuck my nose in for a whiff and the first thing that came to mind was burnt coffee beans. I proceeded to make a pot with high hopes that the taste would be better. It wasn't! Tasted like someone made a pot and left it on the heating plate for a week. No plans on making another pot.

This coffee was absolutely terrible. Horribly bitter, so much so that I thought the brewer must be completely filthy. To my surprise, it was squeaky clean. We purchased a different brand of coffee and the bad taste went away (all other variables the same). There must have been a bad batch made at some point. It was really that bad.

I typically enjoy Starbucks House Blend or McDonalds Medium Roast and found this coffee to be similar in taste. That being said this is way way less expensive compared to name brands. This is a really delicious, rich coffee with a nice smooth finish.

I just purchased a can of Member's Mark Classic Roast Ground Coffee (48 oz.) a few days ago. I must of drank at least 8 cups of coffee made with this New Brand of Coffee to me being it is the first time I have tasted it. Glad I gave it a try because I love Columbian Coffee and this one fits my taste for Columbian Coffee. I rated it a 4 out of 5 because I have yet to find anything out there that taste better then FLAVIA ALTERRA Columbia Coffee usually found in the work place, I which it was made in bulk cans for the average consumer but I can't find it anywhere. That being said this Member Mark Columbia Coffee is very good. Put it this way. If I rated the Flavia Alterra Columbia say a 10. I would rate this Members Mark a 8 out of 10. That says a lot for this Coffee it is good. Give it a try you won't be sorry.

Took me awhile deciding to buy this. Now would have no other and been drinking coffee for 50 years, so have tried quite a few in my life. Also have worked in a coffee shop for 20 years. So I believe I've experienced a lot of knowledge on this subject...All about coffee. Bold flavor and Great taste also a waker upper for sure...Very good price also. Give it a try
