This coffee was priced to entice. I purchased it and tried it after finishing another brand that was more expensive. At 68 years old you would think I would have learned by now that you get what you pay for. Guess I needed to learn that once more. This coffee lacks the aroma that entices you to pour that first cup as it brews. There was an odor, not an aroma. Poured that first cup and what a let down. The flavor was off and at best, was putrid and almost nauseating. Tried a different brewer and different water but got the same results. Will not buy this again and learned my lesson. This is the first Member's Mark brand I have tried that has been substandard.

Sam’s finally got a columbian coffe on par with other club stores. Since they introduced it last year we were sceptical it would be available over the long term. Glad they’ve kept it. Makes a good flavored coffee not burned or overpowering just good. Love the aroma in the morning.....stays good through the day. Beats those k-cup’s for flavor and price. Alas you have to make a pot ....never seems to be any left in the evening.

Don't let the price fool you, this is the best coffee that Member's Mark makes. For me the roast level is perfect. I would probably prefer whole beans over ground, but it works well in my machine and I go through it fast enough it doesn't go bad. The bag is terrible. It's plastic, not foil and no longer has a roll up retaining strip. But because of the low quality bag, I would just transfer it to another container after opening anyway.

I gave this 4 starts b/c it's a good budget coffee. I drink coffee everyday and like variety. I'll usually have some decent beans to grind and also get something else to switch to a day or two a week. Since I'm on a budget right now this fits the bill. It also works well when you have company and don't want to use your expensive beans. If you're not going to use it up in a month you might consider pouring half in a nice sealable container and freezing the other half until your ready for it. My Cuisinart coffee maker just died so when I replace it(with another brand) I'll update this review with which brew strength to use.

A Harsh Bitter Brew Is Not What A Great Coffee Taste Like. What Many People Pay For A Cup I Pay For A Pound Of Green Beans. Coffee Once Roasted Starts A Countdown A Max Of 4 Weeks. It's All In The Coffee's Oil Which Once Extracted By Roasting Turns Rancid, Look It Up. M.M Ground Columbian For A Commercial Produced Brew Has That Fresh Roasted Taste and That All Lies In How Fast It Gets From Roaster To Your Brewing Device. Whole Bean Or Ground Once Roasted Countdown. I Think All Coffee Should Be Made Mandatory To Label Product With The Roast Date Period No Matter Of Brand, Region of The World/Origin. I Have Always Drank Coffee Black And Lately Due To Health Had To Start Buying Instead of Roasting. But My Palette Definitely Has Never Changed And Once You Know and Taste the Difference Fresh Is Best In The Coffee WORLD.

After opening the can, I stuck my nose in for a whiff and the first thing that came to mind was burnt coffee beans. I proceeded to make a pot with high hopes that the taste would be better. It wasn't! Tasted like someone made a pot and left it on the heating plate for a week. No plans on making another pot.

Outstanding flavor, especially for the price. It tastes quite a bit like the Colombian ground coffee made by the company whose name begins with the letter F. All of my friends liked it. I also liked it, even though I usually like a darker roast. No complaints.

The flavor of the coffee was great, but I don’t know what they treat the beans with. The only way I can describe it is greasy. It is the ONLY coffee that has ever clogged my coffee maker. I use a reusable filter and I have to wash it with soap and hot water after brewing this coffee. I won’t by again.

Have been looking for a decently priced Arabica, but was disappointed after using Meijer 100% Columbian. The ratings looked to be good, not outstanding, but good. Was disappointed. How disappointed? My first impulse was to check the can for guarantee as I have NO intention of finishing that 48oz can.

This coffee was purchased to take the place of members Mark Columbian whole bean which was the best coffee . This coffee tastes old like it was swept up off the floor so I wasted 9.98 and Sam's won't take this awful stuff back it doesn't taste like coffee this doesn't even need to be on the shelf .
