I bought this coffee yesterday, I normally don't write bad reviews nor do I return food that I do not care for--I am doing both. This coffee manages to be VERY STRONG with no distinct flavor that I can pinpoint? My husband thought it had notes of ground pepper, that was after trying two different pots. I like Starbucks (so I like stronger coffee) and my husband thinks it is bitter so I only make that for myself. This coffee sucks the life out of your mouth. If you look at a few of the good reviews, they are adding salt and mixing it with other coffees?

You can do better, Samsclub! This item used to come in a 48-ounce can instead of the new 40-ounce bag. Rather than reduce the price of the item in its smaller packaging, you kept the price the same. You are cheating your members, including myself, who love this item. Bring back the old can or reduce the price of the item in its new packaging.

The description says “Intense, pleasurable aroma"; hmmmmm..... If you define a Cigarette ash tray as an “Intense, pleasurable aroma”, then yes, you will love the taste of this coffee...as it tastes, and smells, like brewed Cigarette ashes. Now, at $9 for 3lbs, I wasn't expecting much...but the description does not match the actual taste/smell...and I certainly wasn't looking to drink brewed cigarette ashes...so, it's a 1 star rating from me. Took it back to Sams for a full refund. Coffee is good, but I'm exremely disappointed that Sam's Club discontinued the 3-lb. metal can in favor of this. For the same price, you now only get 2.5 lb. With the nearest store almost an hour away, that means more frequent trips - costing me even more money.

First time I purchased since Samclub stop carrying the one I like from folgers. . Bought this I thought what the heck if it's not to our liking we will just return it. I was really surprised I like the taste not to light not to strong just right.. I'm a big coffee drinker and I got to say it's really good!!!!!!!

I usually purchase green beans and roast them myself, but since I do not utilize an espresso machine, and instead either gravity brew with a stainless steel mesh cone, or use a stove top percolator, the coffee is not as critical. Since deciding that commercial coffee companies do a far better job roasting coffee, then home roasting, and since the major coffee companies through decades of research have concluded the Arabica bean is the most popular, {and tastes the best} I have abandoned the home roasting, nonsense! Here we have a superior ground roast, that makes a superior cup of Americana coffee, at a price that is simply astonishing!

I needed a change from folgers and took a chance on members brand and stunned to find out this is my new favorite brand. I'm very picky and find that you pay for what you get. But this coffee surely put a twist to it. I recommend this coffee 100 percent

My favorite coffee, even if it weren't for the fact that it's also very inexpensive. Like other posters, this is my PRIMARY reason for a Sam's membership. Stop carrying this, and I may never need to go through the door again. Please come to your senses and bring this back quickly. The blood level in my caffeine system is at dangerously high levels.

This Members Mark Columbian coffee is just ad good as Folgers. We don't notice any difference.

It’s good coffee. I bought this to replace the usual Starbucks that I got tired of over paying for.
