I usually purchase green beans and roast them myself, but since I do not utilize an espresso machine, and instead either gravity brew with a stainless steel mesh cone, or use a stove top percolator, the coffee is not as critical. Since deciding that commercial coffee companies do a far better job roasting coffee, then home roasting, and since the major coffee companies through decades of research have concluded the Arabica bean is the most popular, {and tastes the best} I have abandoned the home roasting, nonsense! Here we have a superior ground roast, that makes a superior cup of Americana coffee, at a price that is simply astonishing!

I been buying this coffee for work And I can see it's not the same. It does not taste the same look the same or even smell the same. Look. like they changed package also? I can tell the coffee grounds are not as dark.So they're doing something to the coffee.I will never buy it again.

Best coffee

First time I purchased since Samclub stop carrying the one I like from folgers. . Bought this I thought what the heck if it's not to our liking we will just return it. I was really surprised I like the taste not to light not to strong just right.. I'm a big coffee drinker and I got to say it's really good!!!!!!!

My favorite coffee, even if it weren't for the fact that it's also very inexpensive. Like other posters, this is my PRIMARY reason for a Sam's membership. Stop carrying this, and I may never need to go through the door again. Please come to your senses and bring this back quickly. The blood level in my caffeine system is at dangerously high levels.

I purchased this since the columbian folgers I normally buy was out of stock and I can honestly say Hello new best friend. I am not going back to folgers or any other brand. This coffee has a smooth perfect taste for me and not bitter at all like. I would recommend this to anyone and everyone. Give it a shot.

Great start to our day

I bought this coffee yesterday, I normally don't write bad reviews nor do I return food that I do not care for--I am doing both. This coffee manages to be VERY STRONG with no distinct flavor that I can pinpoint? My husband thought it had notes of ground pepper, that was after trying two different pots. I like Starbucks (so I like stronger coffee) and my husband thinks it is bitter so I only make that for myself. This coffee sucks the life out of your mouth. If you look at a few of the good reviews, they are adding salt and mixing it with other coffees?
