Good Coffee Horrible Lid

It's an above average medium roast coffee however the lid can crack easily and is not the best made. How I store coffee to keep it fresher longer is break it down into 6 oz to 8 oz portions. Each portion goes into a pint-size reusable sous vide bag (like a ziplock bag but with a vacuum seal) and store those in the freezer.

"JUST LIKE MICKY Ds"

About a week ago I bought another 2 cans of this coffee. We like it now; that my wife has learned that you have to use less coffee with this strong Colombian coffee. It is very full body and very mild. It can be too strong if you don't cut back on the coffee' I have been drinking coffee for almost 73 years and this coffee is very good to me!!!!! It reminds me of a cup of McDonalds coffee, but now that McDonalds has gone up on their $1.00 cup an old tightwad like me will have to make my own. Or, beg my wife to do it.

Good Quality and Price

Don't let the price fool you, this is the best coffee that Member's Mark makes. For me the roast level is perfect. I would probably prefer whole beans over ground, but it works well in my machine and I go through it fast enough it doesn't go bad. The bag is terrible. It's plastic, not foil and no longer has a roll up retaining strip. But because of the low quality bag, I would just transfer it to another container after opening anyway.

Better Than The Price Would Indicate

This is my third purchase and can honestly say this is very good coffee. I have been a coffee snob for many years, especially towards a brand starting with an S. That said, I really don't want to like this cheap coffee. It just seems so unnatural that something this inexpensive delivers such flavor and value. It delivers a VERY strong cup of smooth coffee that is really good served over ice for an afternoon pick up. Good stuff, glad I stumbled across this a year ago.

I'll stay with Folgers

I almost always go right for the Member's Mark brand and when I saw this I had to try it even though I'm a huge Folgers fan. Sorry to say this was my first major disappointment as far as Member's Mark products go. It's ground much too fine and wasn't even close to Folgers Colombian. Great Value brand was much better than Member's Mark. Barely resembled Colombian coffee at all.

Smelled Burnt, Taste Burnt

After opening the can, I stuck my nose in for a whiff and the first thing that came to mind was burnt coffee beans. I proceeded to make a pot with high hopes that the taste would be better. It wasn't! Tasted like someone made a pot and left it on the heating plate for a week. No plans on making another pot.

Good coffee -- great price

I've been a Folgers user for many years, but I'm also an instant savings shopper, so I decided to give the MM coffee a try because of the discount and in spite of the mixed reviews. Just opened my first can -- and the first positive I noticed was the difference in the vacuum seal compared to Folgers. Brewed up a small pot and was pleasantly surprised by the taste. At $6.97 a can with instant savings, this is decent coffee at a great price IMHO. I'm ordering 3 more cans today. (Just a little more perspective -- my mom, who's not much of a coffee drinker, told me the cup of Folgers I poured for her tasted like old tobacco -- she just tried the MM Colombian and said it did too, but not as strong, so the two are very similar.)

Disgusting

This is the worst tasting coffee that I have ever had. The one star rating was too much star. I’m shocked at the disgusting taste. I cannot describe the awfulness. Heed the bad reviews; I wish I had, they’re dead on accurate. And only buy if you’re trying to kick the coffee habit. This is going back as soon as I can get it there.

Bag was NOT SEALED. Leaking coffee.

Bought a bag of this coffee an hour ago. Compared to a full one I had on hand that is the same thing. I said, hmmm bag from today feels lighter. Weighted on digital scale. Only weighed 31 OZS (with bag!!), NOT 40. Now have to take back to the store. Looked at the bag in detail and the top was not sealed. Completely open except for the bendable tabs. Crap. While investigating dropped some more coffee. Do not want to use. Someone may have tampered with it although the top seal is usually pretty tough.
