This coffee was absolutely terrible. Horribly bitter, so much so that I thought the brewer must be completely filthy. To my surprise, it was squeaky clean. We purchased a different brand of coffee and the bad taste went away (all other variables the same). There must have been a bad batch made at some point. It was really that bad.

I used to buy this same coffee when it was available in the can. This is the same product and very good tasting coffee. The only difference is the packaging, and the amount is slightly less, but the price was reasonable. I usually put 1/3 to 1/2 of the bag in an airtight container and vacuum seal the rest to keep it fresh. Good value!

I usually buy Yuban from Sam’s Club but have purchased many different brands over the years in search of the best cup. Member’s Mark was on sale in the pretty red can so i figured I would try it and bring it back if it was no good. I could smell it in the car on the way home and was excited because it smelled good but when I got home I discovered it was open as I suspected. (I mention this because another review says there was no aroma?!) I returned it for a new can. I was pleasantly surprised how good it is. I usually use 2 heaping TB for one cup full. It’s strong enough that I can probably cut back to 2 level. The bad reviews confuse me. I wonder if there’s a quality control issue. I know the batch I bought is really good (definitely better than Starbucks).

I just purchased a can of Member's Mark Classic Roast Ground Coffee (48 oz.) a few days ago. I must of drank at least 8 cups of coffee made with this New Brand of Coffee to me being it is the first time I have tasted it. Glad I gave it a try because I love Columbian Coffee and this one fits my taste for Columbian Coffee. I rated it a 4 out of 5 because I have yet to find anything out there that taste better then FLAVIA ALTERRA Columbia Coffee usually found in the work place, I which it was made in bulk cans for the average consumer but I can't find it anywhere. That being said this Member Mark Columbia Coffee is very good. Put it this way. If I rated the Flavia Alterra Columbia say a 10. I would rate this Members Mark a 8 out of 10. That says a lot for this Coffee it is good. Give it a try you won't be sorry.

The flavor of the coffee was great, but I don’t know what they treat the beans with. The only way I can describe it is greasy. It is the ONLY coffee that has ever clogged my coffee maker. I use a reusable filter and I have to wash it with soap and hot water after brewing this coffee. I won’t by again.

One of the joys of opening a new can of fresh coffee is that initial joy of those wonderful coffee aromas after you peel back the covering. Sadly, this coffee didn't have that at all. Skeptical.....I brewed a pot....horribly disappointed. Flat, dirty flavor. I even give it another chance the next morning...thinking my tastes may have been off. Nope, same scenario. Would not wastes my money on this product.

Purchased a few months ago, now with two coffee drinkers (always stocked up) we opened and then refrigerated until use. We're both quite satisfied with MM Colombian Coffee. Making our order now and will repurchase. NO bitterness, adjust "scoops" to strength desired. FWIW using standard 12 cup and 5 cup coffee makers. Zero issues. Previous MaxHouse French Roast - now MUCH better savings and quality flavor. WIN - WIN

I normally buy McCafe or Dunkin Doughnut brand coffee. I thought I would give Members Mark brand a try. I normally love Members Mark and Wal-Mart Great Value brands. Not this one though. It has an awful smell when opened and even a worse taste. This is the worst coffee I've ever had, and I spent 12 years in the military that's not known for having great coffee. I would not recommend this coffee even if it were free.

I am picky about my coffee so that being said, I wasn't expecting to like this coffee because of the low price. I was certainly wrong! This was well balanced and flavorful. I just purchased another can last week because I liked it much better than the neighbor's Folgers brand.

Outstanding flavor, especially for the price. It tastes quite a bit like the Colombian ground coffee made by the company whose name begins with the letter F. All of my friends liked it. I also liked it, even though I usually like a darker roast. No complaints.
