I gave this 4 starts b/c it's a good budget coffee. I drink coffee everyday and like variety. I'll usually have some decent beans to grind and also get something else to switch to a day or two a week. Since I'm on a budget right now this fits the bill. It also works well when you have company and don't want to use your expensive beans. If you're not going to use it up in a month you might consider pouring half in a nice sealable container and freezing the other half until your ready for it. My Cuisinart coffee maker just died so when I replace it(with another brand) I'll update this review with which brew strength to use.

Outstanding flavor, especially for the price. It tastes quite a bit like the Colombian ground coffee made by the company whose name begins with the letter F. All of my friends liked it. I also liked it, even though I usually like a darker roast. No complaints.

I usually buy Yuban from Sam’s Club but have purchased many different brands over the years in search of the best cup. Member’s Mark was on sale in the pretty red can so i figured I would try it and bring it back if it was no good. I could smell it in the car on the way home and was excited because it smelled good but when I got home I discovered it was open as I suspected. (I mention this because another review says there was no aroma?!) I returned it for a new can. I was pleasantly surprised how good it is. I usually use 2 heaping TB for one cup full. It’s strong enough that I can probably cut back to 2 level. The bad reviews confuse me. I wonder if there’s a quality control issue. I know the batch I bought is really good (definitely better than Starbucks).

I am picky about my coffee so that being said, I wasn't expecting to like this coffee because of the low price. I was certainly wrong! This was well balanced and flavorful. I just purchased another can last week because I liked it much better than the neighbor's Folgers brand.

years ago i had only used the brand leaders for numerous decades. about 15 years ago i switched to member's mark classic. i started getting questions how i made my coffee because it's the best coffee i've ever had,better than any of the coffee houses. i said, always the same way. ice cold water and 3/4 cup of my grounds in the black and decker 12 cup coffee machine. never been impressed with starbucks, etc., half a tall cup and filled with foam for $$$$$. you've got to be hoping people see you there.

Please bring this back. It was the best coffee. Why is it discontinued?
