7.5 kW Generac propane generator is perfect for us during power outages. Powers the water pump to our well, the house propane furnace, refrigerators and freezers, lights, TV’s, microwave, stove top, and coffee pot. Without a generator lived thru long, cold outages with no water, etc., awful! This is so much better plus the peace of mind it provides is priceless. Well worth the investment!

This unit is well made,nice and compact,a lot quieter than my mobile generator.It is easy to install and comes with three manuals which are easy to follow.We lost utility power just recently during a very cold snap for about six hours.The generator started up and shut down without a hitch.No need to go out in the cold.It would be nice if a battery came with it.

My opinion is clouded by my 5 year history with my first generac.. same 7500 watt propane generator, but assembled vertically. the new one is horizontal. I had 4 major components go bad on me. Only one was under warranty. automatic transfer switch, control module, starter, and finally the generator itself. I only bought another generac because it would have cost too much to deal with the other peripheral issues. I'm not a fan! I called but had no legal recourse.

I bought the 7.5 powerpact it does everything I need so we don’t have to leave our house we got heat water frig lights tv all I need for the night sometimes multiple nights here with all the power lines running through the woods I love the thing definitely a good investment

The standby Generator for free was a huge incentive for us in purchasing this Generac.We are retired and every penny counts. It is attractive, not loud, and what a relief to stop worrying about losing power. I think all new homes should be built with these.

While the Generac hasn't been used as yet we are very happy with the staff that installed it. Came on time when they said they would, worked neatly and efficiently. Even turned my sprinkler back on when I had forgotten to turn it off for them. Great crew. Hurricane on the way probably so may get a real test.

After the generator was installed and while the electrician was testing the generator system, the solenoid switch malfunctioned. The electrician had to contact Generac and was told a technician would be out within "2 weeks." A month later the technician showed up, encountered another problem and I was told the technician would return shortly to fix it. Several weeks later it was finally fixed. Very dissatisfied with that part of the Generac service. Hope that's all the problems I have. Too early to tell as to my satisfaction with this product.

Very impressed with the quality of this product. Price was very fair also. Waiting for our 1st power outage. Even with all circuits loaded, it had no problem running all of them.

Unit installed on 11/16/17 engine runs but will not power up , Installer said that he may have received the wrong code from Generac or unit had a defect that was the last that I heard

It's the best peace of mind you could ever own. Never having to worry about a power outage again is an incredible feeling. You can't go wrong with owning a Generac.
