Favorite for hot days. Light sweetness on the malt, easy finish, with the citrus-y undertones you'd expect from a Mexican. It's not too differentiated from corona, and I'm pretty sure it's a part of their portfolio, but I've always gravitated towards Modelo Negra.

great with micheladas. I am mexican and i cant find indio beer here. this is a great alternative and great if you love the micheladas with clam juice! Great for the summer too and bbq way better then coronas. Its like a mexican yeungling but better. 

I tried this beer for the first time about a week ago and I really liked it. I thought the flavor was pretty good and I don’t think they need to change anything.  I would definitely buy this beer again since I enjoyed the flavor as did the group of people I was with

I’ve had Modelo Negra in restaurants, but never brought any home until now. I HATE your gold foil wrap on the bottle cap! It cannot be peeled off. I like to drink straight from the bottle, but my attempt at foil removal left bits of foil all over my counter top and beer bottle! Lose the foil!

Moooooooodelo time! This is a great light summertime beer. It is affordable and is a staple in our family around the pool. My personal favorite is to use it in Chavelas or Micheladas and add a little spice to the beer. Definitely something that we regularly purchase. 

I love both the Especial for a good day drinking beer, but I choose this one with my spicy dinners. Has a smooth flavor, goes great with extra jalapeños and doesn't require a six pack for a fun night out. For me, this is great in an icy cold glass. I drink a lot of beers from different countries, and this one is my go to night beer.

This is a great beer to drink with a lime. It’s dark, but not super heavy. The taste is not too rich but it doesn’t have a real light taste. This is one of my favorites for sure. I would recommend this to anyone who is looking to try a more fuller flavored beer.

This is my favorite beer. I have tried regular modelo and I liked it but this one I ended up loving. Ever since trying I go straight to modelo negra when I am looking for a beer. I love the dark flavor and richness of the modelo negra. I will definitely recommend to others. 

LOVE THIS BEER! Im not a huge fan of dark beers but this one is definitely a favorite. I think it drinks lighter which makes me not feel as full after. There’s good taste and I would tell my friends to try this if they’re trying to explore darker beers.

This is a great Mexican beer, and definitely one of my favorites. It's full of flavor and body and perfect on a hot summer day. The gold wrapping at the top can sometimes is annoying but it wouldn't stop me from buying it. I would definitely recommend this beer to family and friends!
